Burloak Animal Hospital

We have been going to Burloak Animal Hospital since getting our puppy almost 18 months ago. The first year of Winston’s life he was very unwell and he is thriving today because of Dr.McKinnon and her team. The amount of care and love every employee has shown our dog Winston has been unimaginable, and something we will always hold dear to our hearts. The vet care has been exceptional, they listen, answer questions and take outstanding care of your loved pet. We have never felt rushed at any of our appointments and have been able to get in to see a vet quickly when the need arises. Winston has seen all the vets at the clinic and are all knowledgeable, kind and caring. They work as a true team. Thank you Burloak Animal Hospital!!! 5* service all around.

My first visit was perfect!Staff made me feel welcomed!Place was clean and made you feel safe to bring your pet.At no time did I feel that me and my pet were not there number one priority!felt comfortable and knew l was in good hands.Thanks Again for all you did and do for our family pets ❤️

I've been taking all my pets to Burloak since I moved to Oakville in 2001. All of the vets there have been so caring and dedicated to their patients. Dr. Garcia has been amazing with my dog Sugar (now 13) for many years. He always takes the time to make a fuss of her and explain things to me clearly. All of the staff are wonderful and make us both feel comfortable. Just tonight they called to see how Sugar was doing after our visit last week. A truly wonderful group of people who really care about their patients. Thank you all!

Amazing staff all round. They did a great job with my baby rats Hector and Rizzo.

So appreciative of this team, and that they care for a large scope of animals - reptiles included! They are very knowledgeable and expert animal handlers. I left with everything I needed to continue my pet's care, including open lines of communication. Thank you!

This clinic is a very caring place to go to!The front desk staff are very friendly and the doctors go above and beyond to help your animal. Dr. Sarah is hands down one of the most caring veterinarians I have come across (for small animals and large dogs) so I must give my hat to her! She is certainly someone you could trust your animal with - 10/10 recommend! Thanks Dr. Sarah!

Excellent veterinary. I’ve been taking my dog here since we got him 15 years ago and I’ve never had a complaint. Everybody there is pleasant and they do the utmost to keep animals calm and comfortable. Even when they already had their hands full with other emergencies at the end of the day, they remained opened and treated my dogs emergency.

We’ve been bringing our cat here for a few years now. They are certainly worth the drive. I live 25 minutes away but feel it’s worth it. I’ve never felt more sure that they are doing their best for the care of my cat.The front staff are always friendly. The Veterinarians are fabulous. Always, and I mean always very professional and honestly care about your pet. I feel confident when I have to leave my cat alone with the doctor that they are still being as sweet to her as when I in the room.I would recommend Burloak Animal Hospital to anyone. I’m very happy and confident of their care. Thanks to all the staff !!!!

Compassionate & Professional ServiceDr Sarah, Dr McKinnon and the entire BAH staff are truly amazing!The reception staff is welcoming (greeting us upon arrival; making excellent eye contact; willingly offered assistance with our pet carriers). Dr. Sarah and Vet Assistant (Chelsea) were ready at our scheduled appointment time. The doctor explained the details of the exams prior to starting and welcomed our questions along the way. Our birds were handled with care & ease and everyone worked diligently at making our birds visit as stress-free as possible. Lab results were delivered to us promptly via email (as explained in our appointment) with encouragement to call the hospital if we required further clarification. Costs for services were explained prior to payment. The offices are bright, well organized and clean.Overall: The doctors are knowledgeable; compassionate; and approachable. The entire BAH staff will make your visit welcoming & comfortable. I highly recommend the Burloak Animal Hospital for all your pet’s health needs.
