Chinook Rafting - Booking Office

June 2023 - We had a great time with Adam as our guide! He was informative and fun! We had a great time with the unexpected cliff diving as well!

Second time visiting Chinook for the Horseshoe Canyon rafting. The staff are amusing and helpful and keep the day entertaining. There is a 10ish minute walk once dropped off on the bus to get to the rafts, followed by a steep 5ish minute climb to pull the rafts out and carry them up to the van. Photos are published for free on their website, or you can grab a memory stick with them on for $25 on the day. There are T-shirts, joggers, hoodies and caps available to purchase at the end of the trip which are good quality and reasonably priced (between $25 and $40). Richard was our guide this time and was extremely informative on the river, local locations and great places to eat and drink around Canmore and Banff. We chose Chinook for the rapids selection, the amount of time spent on the water and the value. Definitely check Chinook out if you’re looking for a rafting adventure, you won’t be disappointed.

Our guide Jordan was friendly and gave us a great experience on the water! When we weren’t busy paddling and taking on rapids he recommended some ways to experience Banff and Canmore. Very helpful, very fun!

Our family had an excellent time rafting with Chinook. We had an excellent guide who pointed out things along the way. The orientation was thorough, and the equipment was in great shape.

This rafting group is so organized and fun! They make sure the rafting is a blast and safe too - all the guides are so friendly especially Rachel who pilotted our raft. Would highly recommend!

Wow wow ! This is as an experience of a lifetime !! Would love to do it again! As a non swimmer I was nervous but the guide put me at ease. Was my first time white water rafting and I had such a great experience!! The entire team was amazing, super friendly and hilarious. Adrian was our guide and he made us feel so safe, was very informative, but also fun - he was great!! Thanks Chinook Rafting, we will 100% return!

Absolutely had a great time. Highly organized operation, great fun for the kids and adults alike. Definitely recommended! They even give you photos and hot drinks afterwards for free - really a treat. Wish all tour operations were run like this.

We rafted the Kananaskis on June 22 and had a great time. Our guide Jordan made a great trip even better. The next time we visit in the summer, we'll be back for Horseshoe Canyon!
