Food was good, now I know I can ask for additions on the nachos. The pickled grilled cheese was good. Great place if you like pickle flavour. Great selection of draft beers, amazing wait staff!!! Explained menu and specials very well. Great atmosphere although can be a little noisy when busy. All in all a great LOCAL restaurant!!!!! Will absolutely eat here again and support this local establishment!!!!!!

Food: Big portions, lots of interesting options on the menu. The food was overall decent . For an appetizer we had the pickled dip with tortillas. It had good flavor.4/5 I had the Loaded Cappelletti. It was really interesting ! It had sausage, red peppers, spinach, bacon ,sauce and extra cheese. It had a smokey flavor.4/5We also had the Boss Hog Burger. It had double bacon, pulled pork and extra cheese . The cook forgot to put the pulled pork on the burger, and the burger was charred.3\5The fries were excellent and so was the gravy!Environment/atmosphere:I really enjoy the concept of the pickled pig. Even their menu choices reflect the name . Potato skinspiggy skins". It's a neat concept. It would be really interesting to see some different types of funny pig type art on the wall. Just a thought. 4/5Service : The service was excellent! The waitress was on point

Hubby and I went out for date night. Atmosphere was great, place is clean, music is great, decor rocks. We ordered the fish and chips and calamari, fish wasn't amazing" but we've had worse

My wife and I have gone a few times now and we really enjoy their poutines. They are massive and amazingly flavorful. We both love the Dirty Chicken. We will continue going!

just went for the first time. Food was only so-so, hamburger bun was a little stale and the hamburger patty was very dry. Prices were great and large servings. The fries and poutine were great. Service was very friendly but slow (we went before the supper hour rush)

We have been there 3 or 4 times.The a/c wasn't on, it must have been 95 degrees, so hot!The music is always too loud. You can't talk!We are big fans of the onion rings but last night they were soggy and greasy.we ordered the meatballs melt. Meatballs were dry and overcooked and did not taste like meatballs, very gross. There was pasta with the meatballs but they were cold and I've had much better pasta. Overall, we were looking forward to going out for dinner but leaving the restaurant, we both agreed that we would never go back to the Pickled Pig in Val Caron.

The hostess greeted us promptly when arriving, we waited almost 10 minutes for our server to come get our drink order but she never came, the hostess came back to take our drink order. We had the Pig Skins potato skins for an app which was tasty, my wife ordered chicken carbonara and asked for no mushrooms but got mushrooms and was too salty, I order the Big Texan burger which was tasty and had a side of fries which had some sort of house seasoning which was far too salty. I do have to say I was happy to see Craft beer on their menu

Food was very good. Server was great. Had the Saturday special 1/2 rack of ribs, 5 wings and a poutine, big portions, very good price. Definitely will be back. Music wasn’t really consistent throughout the restaurant, so it felt like music was blasting by a stereo at the bar, and super loud if sitting at the bar. But other than that it was very good.

Poutines here are great. Tried two different ones. Had the steak sandwich, it was terrible, didn't look anything like steak and between the two of us we couldn't finish it, something was just off! Can't speak to anything else, try it again.. not sure!

The Pickled Pig
We tried The Pickled Pig for the first time on Saturday. Our food was delicious and our server was super friendly! I was not a fan of the walls they put up to separate the booths, I found they were too high and made us feel caged. The music was too loud for a place with such high ceilings. I would recommend this place and will most likely return.
