I got a dress hemmed. When I went to pick it up the back was shorter than the front and sides. The tailor said she had measured it exactly from where she pinned it and showed me the cut pieces of fabric, however, that doesn’t change the fact that it’s visibly shorter at the back. Not only did I pay a lot of money for the dress, I spent a lot on these alterations I was not happy with. I do not recommend and I will not go back.

This new spot stands out among other Vietnamese restaurants as it brings a modern spin on the classic Vietnamese iced coffee, and dare I say, improves on tradition with their unique method and beans. They use Arabica beans and pull a potent shot from an espresso machine (unlike the typical metal drip filters). Since it starts out strong, you don't need to worry about the ice melting and watering down the coffee. We've had our fair share of Vietnamese iced coffees and this was hands down one of the most flavourful ones we've had, with distinct fruity/cocoa notes. The barista was friendly and took the time to explain their menu.Their Summer Roll with shrimp and pork belly was refreshing and their Banh Khot (mini savoury crepes) is a delicious offering you rarely find in Toronto. The rice dish was also great - we chose the 5 spice pork and lemongrass chicken.So happy we found this place. Please support this local gem!

This review is for the coffee place and not the tailor. The place is bigger than I expected it. Service was great and friendly. They took the time to explain everything and answer our questions. They walked all the way from the counter to closer to the entrance where I was waiting, to bring me the coffee. We ordered the Vietnamese coffee as well as 2 banh mis. They prepare the banh mis especially for you as they’re made to order. The ingredients were fresh and the baguette has a good amount of filling. It’s nicely wrapped and you know which packaging is which thanks to the labels that they put. I was expecting the coffee to be more on the sweeter side thanks to the condensed milk. But the darkness of the coffee was more empowering to me. I personally prefer coffee with milk and sugar. I would definitely come back to try their other banh mis and dishes. I was a bit disappointed that they did not have Vietnamese desserts. Their purple latte looks interesting too.

I brought in two pairs of pants to have the waists let out and a zipper added to one pair. Lilian did a great job — I tried on both pairs and we discussed what changes were possible. She guided me through some suggestions. Both pairs fit really well now and I am so pleased that I can wear them to work comfortably. Lilian is truly an expert.

I would highly recommend taking your alteration needs here. I took a pair of trousers to be hemmed and blazer sleeve length taken up. They were very knowledgeable, had great communication, and completed it in a timely manor. I will absolutely be going going back!

Absolutely love my jacket and the quality of the embroidery. I will be returning with other things for you to embroider. Good turn around time and the cost was very reasonable.Would’ve liked to know you are cash/debit only though when I dropped my jacket off.

There was absolutely no rush, the environment was so welcoming, and he worked with me to make sure my bridesmaid robes were exactly how I envisioned.Steven, thank you so much for the work you did on the robes for my wedding day - they are just beautiful! I came here because of the good reviews so need to share mine. Last year I brought in my grandmother's gown to be shortened and taken in, when I went to pick it up it was the length of a shirt, I tried it on and it was fixed but is still much shorter than I wanted (because so much was initially cut off there isn’t really enough fabric to make it any longer). There's a bow on the waistband and the night I wore it the bow fell off within an hour, I had to sew it back on myself later. The seams are already coming apart and I've only worn it one time. While the seamstress was pleasant and it was done on time, this dress meant a lot to me and I wish I had brought it elsewhere.
