The Edmonton Downtown Farmers Market in the old GWG building is a year round two story farmer’s market that is open on Saturdays and Sundays. It is a great spot with lots of natural light and interesting vendors. Fruits and vegetables, meat, cheese, eggs, baked goods and prepared foods as well as a variety of crafts and confections. Some other great things are the free parking and lots of activities for kids like balloon animals, face painting and weekly events. This is all accompanied by musical performances on both floors. Truly a remarkable gem in the heart of the city!
