The quality of sushi at this place is simply fantastic, particularly when enjoyed in-store rather than as takeout. The presentation of their sushi dishes in the shop is simply stunning, far better than what you get with takeout orders. For anyone who loves sushi, I wholeheartedly recommend this shop.

Confused as to why I paid 17$ for the Miami roll only to find out that it had cooked salmon inside (which I very much dislike the taste of). I ordered specifically off of the fresh fish menu to make sure I didn’t go anywhere near the cooked salmon. On top of which the avocado wasn’t even ripe, it was tough and crunchy. In my other roll - the spicy tuna roll there was almost no sauce on it so it wasn’t even spicy. I am external disappointed - I was on my way to work and couldn’t turn back but I feel completely taken advantage of.

Excellent food, and very friendly and polite people. The place is nice and tidy, not a fancy dinner place though.It beats 98% of Japanese restaurants in the area on food quality.

As you’ll see in other reviews, this place is the best. The sushi burrito is amazing and such a generous portion. Ingredients are all fresh and delicious. Free drink after spending $10 is a super sweet deal! Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this place. They have the best sushi in town in my opinion! Avocado is always super fresh, and they put a ton of ingredients into each roll. Also- they are so friendly when you go in… even the kitchen staff say “thank you” when you leave ❤️

I had a prawn poke bowl with mango and it was just so good. It was what you’d expect in a higher end restaurant- that good. It was also a quick in and out , really friendly staff. Price was in the highs side but I didn’t mind because I enjoyed the meal. Good portion size and great presentation.

300th review! I used to go here frequently back when they had their old location on Mckenzie/Shelbourne, though I've since moved out of the city. I would typically order the California rolls and BC rolls. The food was always great, and the service always friendly! They used to offer a free fountain drink if you spent a certain amount, though I don't know if they do this anymore. This place is so great that it was my go-to restaurant during my time here.With the redevelopment of their old premises I'm glad they were able to move elsewhere, and I hope to visit again someday. All the best!

Very authentic sushi ran by a nice Japanese lady. We ordered the salmon & tuna burrito and the spicy tuna burrito and it’s out of the world! Highly recommend and will definitely return! Oh and you also get a free fountain drink if you order $10+!
