I took a 2-hour private lesson and it was really great. Easy to understand, funny and very useful. I was taking photos with a film camera when I was a teenager (in 70s-80s), but after it was just taking shots with automatic chip camera or a cell phone. Recently I bought a decent SLR camera from Canon so wanted to lear more. This was a very useful experience it is incomparable what I could do with my camera before and after the lesson, when I learned how you can achieve effects you want by manually changing parameters. Now I will gain experience and come back for an advanced" course."

I took both the beginner and intermediate courses here. I thoroughly enjoyed both levels. The intermediate level in particular was excellent with a live model at every class. Polina is a great teacher-- patient, clear and an expert photographer. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the photo school. You will learn a lot!

Strongly recommended to beginners and intermediate photographers alike.A wonderful learning experience and an excellent instructor.Polina's lessons will quickly help beginners grasp all the basic yet necessary concepts, guide them towards mastering their camera and start really enjoying photography. Intermediate and advanced photographers are offered diverse workshops to improve/refresh their skills. Thumbs up!

I took both the Beginner and Intermediate courses here. I especially appreciated the small class sizes, relaxed atmosphere and excellent balance between theory and practice. I learned so much about the functions of my camera, tecnhiques for capturing great images and concepts for creating interesting photo spreads. Polina is very knowledgeable. She provided great feedback and suggestions for improvement. I'm looking forward to putting what I've learned into practice and will definitely continue to come back for workshops and/or private lessons.

I thoroughly enjoyed this 6 hour intermediate course with Polina. Her extensive knowledge and passion for photography is very present in her teaching. The small class is also helpful and she makes certain that she includes each individual in both theory and hands on shooting. Highly recommended.
