Today I had my g test and my instructor was Aron she was literally one of the best humans I have ever met!!! She makes you feel so comfortable and not scared and it really helps when doing a test like this she makes you feel so calm I wish there was more instructors like her around she’s so great at her job and just such a great person. First time I haven’t gotten anxiety doing a test! Thanks Aron best experience ever!!!

Not sure why people have given low ratings but my experience was as good as 5 stars. Much better than city side test centers. The staff was good, happy and not rude towards me. I did not have to wait longI gave my G2 test here and I cleared it one of the reasons was because my examiner Peter, he was kind & humble. Thank you Peter. God bless!

Yesterday, May 1, I took the G2 test. My road tests started exactly at the appointed time. A female instructor with dark hair and a cool tattoo on her arm in the form of a skull was very friendly and polite. She clearly gave instructions and calmly repeated them if I didn't understand something (my English is very bad). I do not know her name, but once again I am very grateful to her!The staff inside was also very polite and friendly, they changed my G1 license to G2 in just a couple of minutes. The worst driving instructor i have ever had, extremely rude and bitter. Failed G test for going 10 km/h over on highway, and 6 km/h on backroad. Smelt like cigarettes too :) dont book your test here!!

Just like most examinees I was so nervous to take my G road test especially after I read the reviews.As soon as I came in the building I can hear the front desk lady (Lisa) all happy and friendly to everyone and even greeted a girl a happy birthday.My appointment was scheduled at 9:46 a.m. and the test started around 9:30. My examiner was named Chet. He was professional and literally spoonfed me on what to do. He told me all about the rules and highlighted that I should move my head when changing lanes & not just my eyes. Even after giving an instruction, he would direct me with his hands to change lane if he feels it's safe to do so. You can tell he wants you to pass. After the test, we just went through on what I can improve on and he told me to go back in the center for the final step.Thank you again Chet! You're awesome!Overall my experience here was great!

I got my G2 yesterday!! Really impressed with the Barrie drive test Centre, Very helpful staff. My examiner was Peter. He was very professional and understanding. I really liked how he maintained his composure throughout the test and continued to be patient. He was able to calm my nerves :)

I took my G2 road test today and as someone with severe anxiety I just want to personally thank mandy for making me feel so comfortable and so calm through the entire test. She really is great. Thank you again Mandy!

I drove pretty neatly better than many professional Ontario drivers. but I immediately noticed that the female examiner had her own plan to sell me their G2 exam - so she wrote down everything that seemed wrong to her 100 times, by this she let me know that resistance was useless. I often did not understand what she wanted and she gladly exposed it as my inability. you can’t put a person as an examiner if his goal is not to help, because such a person will sit next to the driver and grumble like a displeased wife in order to provoke an accident

Wonderful experience! Awesome instructor! Very kind and calm, taught me well and guided me through everything. I truly felt supported. I couldn't ask for a better teacher.I know I passed my G2 because of him.The examiner I got was also very good, he was straightforward but very fair.

I took the G test today and test was delayed around 30 minutes. My friend was delayed 50 minutes than the scheduled time. Each of us sat in the car waiting while it was so hot and not eco-friendly if turning air conditioner on in the parking lot. The examiner lady failed me with a main cause of not picking up the speed. I asked where and got a reply of entry point around the merge onto 400 south bound. The entry section was a short distance and I drove and merged after a heavy truck safely at a speed of 85km before getting to the merge fork end. I then picked up the speed to 100km before lowered to 93-95km which was the traffic speed then. The examiner said I should not merge before 100km and should surpass the front car to keep the speed at least 100km. I really can not agree that. There were other similar ridiculous points on the driving test report which I Fully NOT agree with the judgement details. Similar stories went on with my friends. Are there anything we can do to improve this? Many driving test center presented 40%+ failure rate while as far as I know both me and my friend have been driving for more than 20 years without accident records among which nearly 4 years in Ontario!
