Marie is a wonderful tour guide…it was a joy to explore Quebec City with her knowledge and fun facts. Playing the “spoons” was a unique highlight! We highly recommend her as a tour guide!

Our experience with Marie-Pierre was amazing. This was our first time visiting Quebec City, and having a knowledgeable, friendly guide was an excellent way to get oriented, both geographically and culturally, on our first morning in the city. Our family of four included one college student and another in high school. Both found the tour interesting and Marie-Pierre engaged them as much as the parents. One of my sons is studying French and she encouraged him to practice conversing with her. She even helped my wife and I feel comfortable using our rusty French language skills with her kind and encouraging manner. We had a wonderful tour with Marie-Pierre last week in Quebec City! She is a delight! It was the perfect way to start our trip because she gave us a wonderful layout of the city so we could wander around for the rest of the week on our own, knowing where we were and also knowing the history of this stunning city. It was myself and my 15 year old daughter and Marie-Pierre made the tour interesting and fun for us both, including some stops off the beaten path as I mentioned my daughter might like some fun photo opportunities! We had a great half-day tour of Old Quebec with Marie-Pierre. She made it fun and interesting for my husband and myself, as well as our two sons, age 12 and 14. The tour was well-thought through, but she also adjusted her approach based on our itinerary for our stay. She has a real passion for her city and showed us a couple of corners we wouldn't have found by ourselves!I would completely recommend a tour with Marie-Pierre as part of a great visit to Quebec!

Marie was excellent. My family of 8 (including myself, wife and 6 children. Ages 19 through 5) all were completely entertained, educated and enthralled. Marie and her tour were the best part (along with the scenery and landmarks) of our trip. She took the time to make certain that all of our interests were met and her knowledge of the area and history of Quebec was deep. Our 5 year old says it was her favorite part of her summer and my wife and I agree. Do yourselves a huge favor, hire Nomad tours/Marie and you will not be sorry. Marie was an amazing tour guide! She was very knowledgeable about Quebec City, and she shared a lot of fascinating history about the city that I never knew. She was very friendly, and taught my family and I so much about the culture of Quebec.Marie answered all of our questions exceptionally, and she even showed us how to play the wooden spoons! The tour was a lot of fun, and she took us to some of the city’s most beautiful sites, such as Place Royal, Chateau Frontenac, the old city walls, and the parliament building. Everything about our tour of the the old city was so pretty, and having Marie there to guide us along and provide information made it so much better.Marie also gave us lots of recommendations of activities to do in the area and places to eat, and they were all excellent. She is such a nice person, and I highly recommend her tour to anyone who wants to explore beautiful Quebec City.

Marie was one of the best tour guides we have ever had. She was extremely knowledgeable and prepared. She came with photos so she could describe historical significance in pictorial ways. She was open to our preferences and built into the tour places to get refreshments and bathroom stops. Hello fellow tourists! Marie-Pierre is an excellent and knowledgeable guide to orient you to Quebec City. She made the walking tour extremely kid friendly and insightful. We saw sites off the beaten path and engaged in some interesting conversations about the city and tourism in general. Would recommend Marie-Pierre to all visiting Quebec City.
