Fenced-in dog park. Lots of places to sit and eat a picnic. Public washrooms on site and swimming is excellent! Very clean park! We go often!

Head Lake Rotary Park
My daughter was fundraising for Places for People. I went to give support for a few hours. The library had been left open to allow access to the bathroom and warmth should it be needed.People dropped by to chat. They pledged support. Perhaps they sat around the the firepit that had been donated by a friendI have memories of people I've known who have been homeless in Haliburton. I was touched by my own memories while chatting and listening to the stories of others....

Head Lake Rotary Park
Being so close to our office, it's great to get outside and walk through Head Lake Rotary Park after a day of work. So much goes on in the park all year round! Penny, our Jack-a-bee, loves the dog park and its K9 social scene. There is ample room for the kids to play, and don't forget all the stores and markets in town!

Beautiful clean park with lots to do. Placedon the lake. Has Beach, outdoor tennis, picnic areas, outdoor ball hockey/ hockey rink, parket with gym equipment, information train, , toilets, dog friendly. Beside downtown so lots to walk to. Great day for us.

Head Lake Rotary Park
It has been a beautiful place but I have been told that the township of Dysart et al is tearing down the park equipment & not replacing it as they say there is no money in the budget, even though they knew 10+ yrs ago approximately when it would need to be replaced, therefore they had more than enough time to plan for the costs. There is no other park in Haliburton which means all the kids who live & vacation here will have no park to play at
