Super nice took us early to treat our dog because we thought we were going to lose her but she is ok

I always love going to the my dentist It's fast service everyone is always polite friendly greets you with a smile very professional and they do a good job on your teeth

Before this clinic was sold to a new owner, it was amazing! My family had always brought all our pets for their care at HVL. As a fellow animal care worker (I am a Certified Animal Health Technician) it saddens me to say that I no longer have any trust in this veterinary clinic; I've been struggling for over a year whether or not to say something. They often seem to be interested in the bottom line. They also completely mishandled my mother's dog's health problems, telling my mother she did not tell them something that she had, in fact, told them on several occasions. Maybe it was to cover the fact that they had neglected to offer her tests that could have diagnosed her cancer much quicker and perhaps we could have had more treatment options instead of the palliative care for 3-6 month life expectancy we got. It was also interesting that when my mother referred the vets and techs to speak with me about the case so we could come to some arrangements (such as finding a generic brand of medication that was affordable within our budget) they fought her on it, tried to manipulate her into changing her mind, and then proceeded to tell me there were no such products that exist"

Great service, very kind staff. I didn't have an appointment but I had an emergency with one of my cats and they took 10 minutes out of their time to see her. Meds were expensive but hey, where is it not?

Always polite and helpful. Taking care of our animals is always stressful and all the staff here go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable

Welcome to 2021… Profits before pets. “Veterinarians”are supposed to be about support, reassurance, advice, overall professionalism+etiquette. If customers and pets are treated well, they’re clients for life. But if you push too hard with your long list of expensive tests, Shying away from discussing the more basic less expensive things that are waaaaaay more common, You run the risk of having people find another vet to do business with. Interesting thing with Covid, people are stuck and vets aren’t necessarily taking on new clients. Thankfully I had a back up plan and a back up appointment at Hopital Veterinaire Mirabel. The service was prompt, professional, and we got to the bottom of the problem with a nice calm consultation that cost me 10x less than what Lachute was proposing. So, my conclusion, either they’re all about pushing the sales up through the roof, or don’t have a clue what they’re doing, either way happy to be taking my business elsewhere. Unhappy clients can have wide reach, and will most likely share their bad experiences

Good prices and good service. My dog had a surgery there and she received good care. Even if I have to drive 45min to go there (there is closer places) I don't hesitate.

The service is great!I went there for general check ups, vaccination and for an emergency and i never paid anything i couldn't afford.The service is very friendly and focused on your animal's wellbeingThe only downside is that they usually are booked for a couple weeks/months if you need to schedule an operation.Other minor downside is that (at least during covid when we couldn't be with our animals) they would put the animals in close proximity to each other.. absolutely no problem with that unless you have a reactive or unsocialized dog
