I love this place. Hilda and Geraldine have taken the best care of my mom that I could ever expect. Not just them but they're a huge part in my confidence of Mom being taken care of. Every single one working there has my love, respect and gratitude for everything they do. My Mom is happy, I'm happy, thank you everyone in being a part of that. Great job!!! Much love and much appreciated. Cheers to all the great people at Elmwood.

I would like to give 4.5 stars and the reason is because it was sometimes hard to get in touch with admin staff over the phone (nursing staff was not an issue) My mom was at this facility (mostly in the old building) and I was quite happy with her care- she liked to sleep in very late and be up very late at night and once they knew she had always been like this (they called after a few weeks to check if this was her normal behaviour) they set up extra meals (like sandwiches not necessarily hot meals) and worked with her...she was very happy there (COVID definitely was an issue but it's hardly Elmwood's fault). Of course there were a few PSW's who I didn't care for and they al were very busy - especially at meal times, but you will find that everywhere...mom was kept clean and I was kept updated regularly - I would use Elmwood place again and would like to thank the staff for keeping mom happy.

The new facility is bright and cheerful and the staff here are kind and very attentive towards our Moms needs. Dr Carter is extremely caring and always follows up on any concerns quickly. Tina is amazing and keeps the residents physically active and in positive spirits. Their recreational programs have been expanding and they encourage Family members to join in the activities provided. We continually hear nothing but positive comments about the food and the servers. We are Blessed to have our Mom living here.
