Just off the highway in Nanoose Bay - great lunch stop! The butternut squash soup was delicious along with the chicken wrap (walnut was delicious). The coffee stout was spot on, malty and rich. The staff was friendly and service was great!

We were visiting from the mainland and decided to try this place. Upon arriving, we noticed a lineup and knew that had to be a good sign. Wow, we were blown away. This place is great. Delicious food, attentive service, beautiful view. We sat on the patio, where let me tell you the best part...dogs are welcome. The must try is the chowder. Fresh muscles, class, lox and scallop. It could have been a meal in itself, but I'm glad I left room for their feature of the day. The Arctic Char. Hands down the best meal I've had in probably 10 years. We'll be back again...I promise.

My boyfriend and I came in here after a long hike just looking for a cold beer and a burger and we were very impressed. The service was fantastic and quick (the kitchen was about to close when we arrived but they graciously waited for us to order before closing which was SO LOVELY). Our server gave some awesome beer and food recommendations. I recommend the Belgian Whitbeer and the brisket burger.

While in the Parksville - Qualicum Beach are for a week I visited Rusted Rake Brewing for the first time. The beers were all tasting great and true to style while the food was of exceptional quality. Looking forward to a return visit next time I’m in the area.

Visiting from Dallas, Texas and decided to stop by for lunch! It was amazing! The food was great, the staff was great, and the atmosphere was great! The restaurant was so clean and really enjoyable to be in. I 10/10 recommend and would defiantly come back! LOVED IT!

I spent my birthday here with my family and my pup, and all I can say is that I’m SO happy that Nanoose finally has an awesome place to eat some creative, top-notch food. The venue is down to earth, literally—I’ve never seen barley growing so close to a brewery before. For those who enjoy being close to nature in an unpretentious setting, this is the place for you. I loved the buzz I felt in the air with all types of people enjoying their food and drink. Every plate we ordered was fabulous, and we would have had more but the kitchen was limited with staff. We ordered the chips and dip (chip lovers must try), chicken tenders (deadly salty sweet deliciousness) sushi (as good as well-loved sushi restaurants), Caesar salad, and chicken sliders. Our waitress was so personable and sweet which enhanced the eating experience. I don’t drink beer but my Dad said he appreciates what they offer. Can’t wait to go back!

Great food in a beautiful setting. Falafel bowl and brisket sandwich were both outstanding. It's hard to beat having dinner outside on a beautiful summer day on the Island. Staff were really warm and welcoming, and the whole experience was nice. Best meal I've had in the area, highly recommended!

What a great little spot. They really did an amazing job balancing rustic yet clean.Can't really beat what they've done with the place. The food was vibrant and the beers were fresh.Just a great atmosphere too.Pricey but you're getting very good qualityHad smoked brisket and The falafel dish.Brisket was very good BUT the horseradish sauce was the weakest I've ever had in my life. So much so I feel like I should double check that it was actually horseradish..maybe it wasn't.. suffice it to say brisket was great but something with some actual spice and heat with it would have been awesome.I'm splitting hairs here as this place is great but just calling it like we saw it.If you're passing by here you really owe it to yourself to try it.Fantastic family owned spot

The atmosphere and seating is second to none. Very cute and nice, great beer!The food was ok, probably better if you're drunk off the beer first. I'm not expecting 5 star dining but for $20-$30 a plate please at least serve fresh or hot food. My platter tasted great but it was lukewarm. My partner and I both had cold old fries, we asked for replacements and they sent us just one serving to share. We spent a total of $100 here for lunch and drinks and I probably won't be back for the food, though the beer was delicious.
