Great place with friendly service! Was given helpful advice for sewing (parts, techniques, etc). Would definitely recommend.

I don't think you will find a better machine service place in Montreal. Also great advice for buying suitable new machines, good prices and the owner will go above and beyond to help you learn or get what you need. Last i visited he just gave me a few different feet to try on my difficult project and told me to bring back the ones that didn't work. Very honest and caring service.

This is a fantastic, family run, efficient, and honest business. Every time I have gone, the same couple are there, and reliably offer great service and thorough expertise. They sell a variety of machines that WORK and will CONTINUE to work. Don't bother buying a new machine, what you buy here will last you a life time. This is an excellent place, they will not rip you off, they stand by their work-- I recommend it to all my friends.

I brought my fifty year old machine for service. I did not think that it could be made to work. I picked it up two days later and it is better than new. I could not be any happier. Thank you famille Silveira.

Amazing service. You can trust them.I just got my surger fixed by them and it was worth it. They change the intire engine and It was wayyy cheaper then bying a new machine. They even gave me a 3 month warantie on there work. Thanks again !

Walked in with an old, non functional (but great) machine. Paul, went out of his way to help... when he called in his Dad to help, I was in awe of his knowledge and ability. He changed 4 parts, I spent an hour and a half there, and now the machine sews through 10 layers of denim like butter! I paid what a regular tune up" would cost. I cannot recommend this family business higher. Go there

Excellent. Paul was welcoming, knowledgeable and generous. He tuned my machine, gave me a crash course, offered maintenance tips and threw in an oil bottle. Not to forget the 3 month guarantee that comes with the service. They sharpen sewing scissors on the spot for peanuts. He even, upon my request, recommended a good Portuguese restaurant in the neighborhood. Awesome place. Wonderful service. Lovely people.

The staff are like sewing machine doctors :-) I went in with a sewing machine problem and the staff was able to diagnose and fix the problem within 5 minutes. En plus, it's a family-run business and their store has a beautiful lay-out of all kinds of sewing machines - j'avais l'impression d'être dans un musée de machines à coudre!

I bought some twin stretch needles for my sewing machine as well as nice thread. The price was less than nearby fancy looking stores. I like the old-school feel of the place, the older man who attended me seemed to speak at least four languages. I like that he hand-calculated my bill.

I had such an incredible experience doing business with this shop. My mother, who is getting up there in years, gave me her sewing machine last year. The same machine that made countless pattern creations for her kids, and is an item I cherish. Unfortunately it was locked and the plate needed buffing (things I didn't know until I brought it for a tune up). I left it with Anna and Paul, and then I had some family emergencies which meant I was very delayed in picking it up. Anna was so kind, told me not to worry and they would keep it safe until I could get it. I finally managed to book a day to pick it up, and at the same time get a lesson from Anna on how to use it. She is simply amazing. She only starting learning about sewing machines a few years ago, but you can see that she's intrigued by how things work, and I got a comprehensive, easy to follow tutorial (which I filmed). Basically, if you don't know what you are doing, this the shop for you! Friendly, honest, great prices and so helpful. A real gem.
