Visited Union Social eatery twice in the span of two weeks and was satisfied both times.The first time around I ordered the garlic shrimp tacos (for their Tuesday special), and their Parmesan Truffle Fries.The second time around I ordered their Blackened Chicken Bowties, the Bacon Salt Brussel Sprouts to share, and my husband ordered the Killer Chicken Sandwich.Both visits were wonderful! Our server was incredibly attentive despite coming both times 30mins to last call, and was informative about the dishes we expressed curiosity to.All dishes came out fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The crispiest of fries, juiciest of chicken, and the flavours packed a punch.Their killer sandwich is on rotation, this time it was Cuban style which was flavourful with the right amount of heat.Highly recommend union for their quality food AND service. Will continue to return to try their new flavours.

Was looking for a lunch spot in the area and glad I found Union Social. It’s got better food than the typical franchise names. Also drinks name got a character which is always fun.We had calamari and smoked cheese bacon burger. It’s not super like the boutique burger joints. But good food, freshly made and reasonably priced. Calamari is a bit over done but very crispy which made up for it. After all it’s pub food so don’t expect anything super healthy.Service was also nice and speedy. Would come back again.

Wasn't too impressed with the exterior entering the venue, however the inside transforms into this modern contemporary setting that's both warm and urban sophisticated. Oddly enough there were a lot of families with small children but it doesn't deter from the ambiance. We were quite critical considering the feel is all too familiar with other establishment of the same genre - except when we got our food. If there was a definition for refined comfort food, this would be it. Everything from non-costco hand-cut fries, healthy portions, flavorful balance entrees, and excellent customer service, our dining experience was truly excellent (our host, Meet, was accommodating, friendly, and polite). I had the fish and chips and I wouldn't mind having it again. Lastly, a must try is their brownie desert - it will blow your mind.

3.5-4 stars I would say. The service was amazing! And the food was good too. We had the Buffalo wings and Chicken Bowties with a side of fries. It tasted like comfort food so that’s a plus.Need to try other stuff on their menu for a better rating so I’d go again :)

Had lunch here and had a good experience. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. They made our food pretty quickly too. The place started off pretty empty but got full quick for a weekday lunchtime. Seems like all the employees from the surrounding business parks came to union social eatery! Service was still awesome despite how busy it got.

Came here with my girls for a night out, booked online through open table. Had a good time but def could see some areas for improvement. Food was alright but we found it incredibly rich and overfilling. I have celiac so I was excited to see the gluten free menu, but found that they were out of majority of the menu items and the waiters were not aware of what had or didn't have gluten products in it. So I was being recommended items that I knew contained gluten and had to politely decline. The waiter was def new and overwhelmed so long wait times, and unfortunately they were taking care of over half the restaurant on their own however there was only 4 tables that I could see besides the bar area. Staffing seems to be an issue. Truffle fries I found were drenched in truffle oil which usually I love however the fries became soggy because of the overload of oil. Nachos were good and edamame was great but wish it was a bit warmer. The booths need to be reupholstered, the booth we were sat in had all of the material ripped off from previous users and a quick glance confirmed they were all like that. So yes was okay, maybe it was because it was a Thursday night? But we just weren't feeling it. Won't be back for dine in but wish this location luck in their future endeavors.

Nice place for a quick n decent lunch. The portion sizes are really impressive, probably bigger than what you would expect. The service is also okay but it definitely gets busy during peak hours, so would recommend reservations in advance.

Stopped in here for dinner when was staying at a hotel in the area. The staff were great and the food was delicious. Had a really good cob salad. Would stop here again for a meal.

Really great spot. Good beer and good food with reasonable prices. This spot is worth a visit. Staff are friendly. I typically sit at the bar. I will visit again for sure.

First time there last night around 6pm, it wasn’t busy at all. Our server was lovely, very friendly. I remarked that her hair was gorgeous, and then wondered why it wasn’t tied back as it’s extremely long, and I wondered about hair in food, or hair swiping a plate as she walked by. Again, she was lovely, so tying her hair back is a gentle suggestion. The food was mediocre, at best. I ordered the fish and chips and my sister the garlic chicken Cesar. We received both meals with bottom of the bag fries, at best 1” long fries, which was weird because we came before a dinner rush, not at the end of the night where you’d expect bottom of the bag trimmings. The Cesar was SO overloaded with garlic, which would have made it inedible on its own, but the chicken was…not real? Rubbery and chewy. The entire bowl was left to be taken away at which point the server remarked, “I’ll see what the manager says about taking this off your bill.” Well, actually, there was no question it should come off the bill (and it did!) and, the manager should have absolutely made an appearance at the table, considering he was having a conversation at the table right beside us and also considering we then ordered 2 shots and a desert. But sticking 3 cookies in a microwave are not “freshly baked cookies,” they’re just microwaved. It was an $85 bill after only one meal was eaten. Quite pricy with a disappointing experience. Will not revisit or recommend.
