Knights Inn Lindsay

Hotel was clean, and the room was much bigger than expected. The mini fridge had lots of space for our food and drinks we brought along. Pricing was amazing, and the staff were friendly and helpful.Rooms seemed well sound proofed, couldn’t hear other guests, parking lot was large.We did lose power temporarily during the visit, which was unexpected because the weather was fine. Otherwise the visit was great.

Check-in (10:15 pm) was quick, easy and friendly. Right off Hwy 35 with ample parking. Room, sheets and towels were all clean and comfortable. Room is a good size and has a microwave and mini-fridge. The place is an older economy hotel that is not trying to be anything else.

Price-wise it’s the best you’re gonna get. Sub $100 rooms are hard to come by so you get what you get. The Bed was comfortable, A/C worked, Fridge and TV worked, toilet had a bit of trouble flushing even just pee so that was a bit strange. Regardless it was decently clean but it’s definitely showing it’s age. It’s also a ways out of town so you can’t just go for a walk as it’s on a very busy stretch of road and probably a 30 minute walk without sidewalks anyway. Staff were friendly though, parking lot is big enough to fit anything. It is what it is. Hopefully they can update the rooms without losing the lower price point.

Decent review, rooms are big. Bathroom is really nice, beds and pillows were clean and super comfy. AC worked like a charm, and all at a really fair price. Disappointed there was no breakfast this time around but due to covid they stopped that, but otherwise really nice place and the owners seem to really care. Happy with my stay for sure!

The service was horrible..rooms discusting!! Big dog show n most of us stayed there..he kept almost every deposit because of dog smell bit this was the motel said to us to stay with pets!!would bever stay there again even if it was free..the owner is ignorant!!

So I had booked a room at HoJos and travelled from out of town to get to Lindsay, but nothing but problems when I arrived. So I called this motel and CSR was very helpful and kind. He allowed me late check out since I came so late, then because I had to wait for ride out of town he allowed me to wait in room instead of out in cold! The room was clean and bed comfy, I would def come-back, but everyone should know the owner is kind and willing to go above ans beyond!

This is a lovely little place, a little older of a building but quite nice inside. We stayed during a winter storm and needed to leave early, but there was over a foot of snow in the parking lot. The owner got out his electric shovel and plowed a path for us to leave after informing us that the snow plow would be late. He even got us a path to our car door. We are definitely staying here again next time we come to Lindsay

They were so accommodating and the new renovations make the hotel very nice on the inside of the room. If stayed before definitely try again with new improved rooms!

Nice setting. Out of town.. quiet.. gas station near it with a Tim Hortons.. easy access to town
