Ordered the chicken dum Biryani yesterday. I was disappointed. It missed some important elements. The rice is too soft and mushy, so that they become groups of lumps. The flavor misses the aroma of the herbs. And there is no garnish from the herbs. I really wanted to like the place based on the reviews.The portion is good. The chicken is cooked well. The staff was friendly and the kitchen looked clean. Hopefully this is only a one off.

This is the best Indian food! The location is a little bit hard to find, but once I arrived at the take-out window, I was greeted by two glorious smiles. I will definitely be back and if I ever need an event catered, I'm definitely calling Maha's Kitchen.

The restaurant was hidden, but it was easy to find because of the delicious Indian spices smell. The owner was very nice and kind. I ordered Dosa. It was chewy and crispy. They gave me some vegetarian gravy to try. It was great with dosa! I will definitely try other foods next time.

We ordered a proper south Indian vegetarian lunch for a family function for about 15 people.It was well packed and door delivered on time.Every single item in the menu was so authentic and delicious - everyone in the party liked it so much. I couldn't have expected more than this. I am sure my friends and I are going to order more and more in the future.I highly highly recommend!!!

Very low-key place with take-out only. Had a Really nice masala dosa, best in the town for me so far. But bit disappointed though as I asked to substitute tomato chutney with coconut chutney but didn’t get that one. Probably next time I’m hoping to get a better experience!

What a special find! Loved the unique causal atmosphere, the person that served us was so sweet and helpful with recommendations and most importantly the food was exceptional! Will definitely be back.

Food quality and quantity is really good. Especially the seven day service is the one we got attracted with and Mano sir, your approach seems so genuine. Please keep up the good work. Slight drawback is the order pick-up. Our house is just 2 km away but for us with transit difficulty it is taking us almost 90 minutes to get the food and return. Hope you get that sorted soon. Keep growing. Happy to support ✌️

Got the non veg meal lunch platter with rice curries, vegetables and a sweet. Food was amazing with all the right flavours, I thought it was going to be just one portion but ended up being good for two which was great. Also the owners goes out of their way to make sure they give the best service. Amazing place !! Definitely recommend!

Maha's is the place to go if you are looking for authentic South Indian cuisine. This unassuming little joint may lack a store front, but packs a punch in both flavour and generous portion sizes. We highly recommend when you are doing takeaway and glad we found this place.

A small takeaway South Indian restaurant in Kitchener downtown.. the chicken curry dosai was good and tatsty and the dosa was big enough for 2 people .. the mutton Kothu and prawn Kothu also very tasty
