Sunshine Houseboats & Marina

Took the kids to the floating Waterpark today and had a blast. Prices are very reasonable and the attractions on the park are a lot of fun. The lake felt a little chilly at first, but fine after a few minutes. There are no ladders to climb back up if you fall, but instead handles on sloped pads that were way easier to climb up than other water parks we’ve tried. Make your kids’ day and check it out!

Staff was very helpful with getting our luggage onto the ESCAPADE. Orientation completely covered the operation of the houseboat. When some of our party had to leave early they were again helpful in transporting their personal to their vehicles. I highly endorse this company.

Super fun!! Not a lot of seating but a great way to spend an afternoon!

Great fun waterpark, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. We all had a blast jumping off the cliff, going down the slides, and doing all the obstacles. Overall a very nice place, and was defiantly worth the money.

We rented the suncatcher for three nights and it was a fantastic stress free vacation. Beautiful clean and well maintained boat. Staff and crew were really helpful in getting us out on the water with everything we needed. Definitely doing this again next year!!!!

Had a fantastic long weekend trip mid September. Boat was great, beaches are awesome here. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful at every step. Can't wait to go back! Thank you Brant and crew

We had a group of 17 gals on the stubble jumper. Having been house boating before I was super impressed with the layout of this boat. It has 4 bathrooms, and could very easily sleep all of us.We did boat around for a bit, but found a great beach close to the American boarder that had protection from the wind, fire pits already built, and a ton of drift wood that you could burn for fires. Along that beach of you walk up the hill you can get to some cool path ways and hike around a bit.The water is gorgeous, and the lake drops off very quickly so we were able to jump off the back of the back even when we were parked. Shockley, it isn’t a very busy lake either which was great.I would recommend bringing a hand towel for the kitchen and the bathrooms as well as extra garbage bags!Will be looking into houseboating with Sunshine again, they were marvelous!

We’re making plans for another staycation, and Koocanusa is at the top of our list! We spent two weekends surfing and sunning on the Nautique last summer, and we can’t wait to do it again. We are previous boat owners, and I can’t tell you how much more enjoyable it is to leave all the details and responsibility with Sunshine Houseboats. Our chauffeur, Chloe, was a fabulous driver and a fantastic teacher to our newbie surfers. Chloe had all the patience in the world and made sure everyone could get up on the surfboard.

We had a really great time, the staff is really friendly. It is a little bit of a physical workout pulling yourself out of the water onto the floating walkway and climbing other objects. The price is fair for the amount of time you get the peak times you get about 2.5 hours. If you have smaller children and want a little bit quieter session I recommend the first session it's only about 1.5 starts 9:45 a.m. at a reduced rate.

The staff are all definitely a 5 star- all so friendly, helpful & caring. The orientation was tremendous. The boat was well set up & clean. The only disappointment was the lack of docking areas around the lake. All in all we had a great time & would definitely recommend a houseboat vacation @Sunshine Houseboats on Lake Koocanusa.
