Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Toronto - Yorkville

I've been going here for a few months, so I feel like I'm finally qualified to have relevant feedback.Staff: by far and away the staff here is the best part. Whoever runs their HR deserves a gold star. The entire staff is friendly, professional and extremely talented. And I mean every single member of their staff. They love what they do, and they love their students.Value: it's expensive, but when you register you can really take advantage of all their free group classes. They have them every day so you can literally go every day for free so long as you are registered. So I will say it has good value.Comfort: they are pros and are used to dealing with people like me who have zero prior dance knowledge. They know how to make you feel comfortable so this was not an issue at all.Overall experience: if you have the means, I highly suggest it. It has helped my confidence tremendously, not just when it comes to dancing.I have a lot more good things to say but for a simple review, this should suffice.

My groom and I came in 2 weeks before our wedding, never having taken a dance lesson in our lives, and terrified for our first dance - but Iva and Keivy worked with us to create something that was beautiful, simple, and slightly out of our comfort zone. The results were incredible - we and our guests loved our first dance. There really is no replacement for a good dance teacher who helps you understand the music, tempo and movements instead of just copying them from a video. Thank you Iva, Keivy and Arthur Murray team for making our special day even more magical and unforgettable.

Incredible teachers and dance studio! Arthur Murray's dance culture makes you feel like dance is for anyone and everyone. In just a few beginner classes I left the studio transformed, feeling more confident and open to dance as a lifelong journey. Plus it's a great workout without noticing! Can't recommend it enough!

My Fiancé (now husband) and I were introduced to Antonio upon arrival and enquiring to learn to dance. We ended up taking private lessons with him for our first dance for our wedding. Antonio is caring, very knowledgeable and a talented choreographer. He managed to create a dance around my recently injured ankle but also with music and lyrics not native to him. Our first dance at the wedding was a success and stunner! We hope to go back to learn more!

My teenage daughter loves ballroom dancing. Group classes in her age group are few and far between so I decided to give the Arthur Murray studio a try. The first few sessions in the studio were so much fun for her. I could tell she loved the atmosphere, watching the other dancers etc. So when Covid-19 hit, just after I'd purchased another series of lessons, I was determined to wait. And wait. And soon it was evident that the wait would be long. I'm happy to report that R. is LOVING her online lessons as much if not more than the in-person ones! I know she'll be happy to get back to the studio, but as a relatively new dancer, the privacy of working in her own home is a plus. Also, she's more focused I think - no comings & goings to check out - and typically marvels at how much she learns in each lesson. If you've been putting off your secret desire to glide across the floor, hesitate no more! Virtual ballroom lessons work, they're effective, and because the Arthur Murray Yorkville team is so lovely, they're fun - I can hear her laughing from the other room!

Learned first dance and Bohdana Bubliei was a fantastic instructor! Our dance was elegant, fun and interesting and perfect for our beginner level! She was so accommodating, energetic and helpful!!

All the teachers and employees are incredibly sweet and such nice people! They are always so accommodating and really tailor each lesson to your skill level and goals. I always have so much fun with the amazing teachers during each lesson, whilst really improving my dance skills, making it extremely rewarding every time! I always genuinely look forward to the next time I step into the studio and am constantly so excited to learn more and have fun :)

We are really happy to be a part of Arthur Murray Toronto. We always enjoy our lessons and are really happy with our progress and all the different dances we've learned. The ambiance and camaraderie with the other members adds to the experience. The instructors are fantastic and fun, working hard to provide the best experience possible. During COVID-19, Arthur Murray Toronto has continued to provide an amazing schedule of virtual group classes in addition to our online private lessons. Though not in person, the lessons are still excellent and rewarding and keep us dancing and active through this stress-filled time. Thank you Arthur Murray Toronto!!!Les and Suzi Gayne

Amazing Dancing Studio - I am student for several years now and enjoy highly motivated, inspiring, professional dance teachers. The friendly and open atmosphere is perfect for everyone to start dancing (like me) or to reach the next level of dancing. It feels like a second home to come for practice and weekly dance parties with other students are ideal to apply new skills right at the dance floor. I am traveling a lot in North America which is why the Arthur Murray network is really beneficial. When I travel to another city - I book my flights with the travel agency and my dancing lesson with Arthur Murray. This way, I also get to know other clubs from AM. However, I particular enjoy this school for its dancing team, the (new) studio and simply because it’s midtown and easy to get there! Keep up the great work AM Yorkville!!!

For our 25th wedding anniversary, we decided it would be fun to take some dance lessons....Arthur Murray Yorkville has been a wonderful find. The dance instructors are all very kind and able to teach and inspire us! We're not going to be dance superstars (although if you want that - this place can accommodate!) - we're in it for the learning and the fun. Highly recommend this place if you're interested in learning to dance at your own pace, and want to continually improve.
