We recently had the pleasure of spending a very comfortable and pleasant night at Lakeview B&B, located on Young St, a quiet short, dead end street in the heart of Deer Lake, NL. The room is well appointed with a king size bed and its own ensuite. The owner/hostess, Maggie MacDonald, is very friendly and knowledgeable of the Deer Lake and Bon Bay area. She will recommend the best restaurants, and she serves a super homestyle breakfast.

Hidden gem in Deer Lake. Absolutely beautiful. Very clean, cozy, and friendly. Had a delicious breakfast with homemade bread and a selection of homemade jams. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed one night here on our way from Fogo Island Inn to Gros Morne. We dropped in for a room at 8pm (early June, 2022). I would highly recommend this B&B. Maggie MacDonald is a wonderful Innkeeper. Breakfast is at 8am and was amazing 2 egg, sausage and toast just perfect ! If we were ever to come by this way ever again we would for sure stay here. Maggie if you are reading this , thank youDeer Lake in early June....first season for traveling after Covid. There wasn't much for dinner options. Again we rolled into town at 8pm , on Sunday, 1st season after Covid. Pizza Delight was our only choice and the waitress ,who was ready to close up (9pm) was not happy to see us walk in at 8:30. we had our beer and asked our waitress to make our order to go. We took it back to the Inn and had it on the back deck. Maggie checked on us to make sure we didn't need anything (she had already showed us where the wine glasses were). Very dear!Highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in Deer LakeWe were off to Gros Morne the next day.

Margaret at the Lakeview B&B was so wonderful and welcoming to us. We had an early flight so could not take advantage of the hot breakfast that is provided every morning. Everything was very clean and well-decorated. Five minutes from the airport!

Just a quick over-night stop off between two destinations, but a most comfortable one in a beautiful home. Margaret was most hospitable and gave us the choice between two delicious breakfasts options. Close to the main highway.

The warmest welcome in Deer LakeAn amazing homemade breakfast, while looking at the lake in the breakfast, that’s what you need after 5 days of hiking snd camping in Gros Morne Park.Many thanks, would truly recommend.Staying a bit longer, you could also enjoy the garden and the barbecue, while having super nice talks with the owner, don’t hesitate one sec!

This was our first time staying at a B&B and did we ever get spoiled. Very clean comfortable bed our own washroom and shower and an awesome breakfast to start our day all provided by a spectacular host. When we go back to the Deer Lake area we will definitely give Margaret a call. This was just like being at home you could sit and relax in the common room or sit on the patio. A plus from us.

Such wonderful hosts! What a cute home! Breath taking views from the kitchen table. Amazingly sweet rooms with the perfect bathrooms. And the food, the French Toast with Partridgeberry Jam for breakfast was the BEST! I would fly back from Ontario just to have it again! You must stay here. Bless their souls it was an amazing experience!
