Crofton Ferry Terminal

The Crofton BC Ferries terminal is a fantastic terminal. Although it needs upgrading to keep up with the upward trend in demand, there are still many things about it right now that are very good. The staff working at the terminal (and on the ferry) are friendly, helpful and professional. Terminal traffic is well-organized and dealt with in an effective manner. The ferry ride over to Salt Spring Island provides some absolutely spectacular views. If you are looking to get to the mainland, take the ferry from the Duke Point, Departure Bay, or Swartz Bay terminals; this ferry doesn't take you to the Mainland. It will take you to Salt Spring Island, and you can get to the Mainland from Salt Spring, but you have to take a ferry from the terminal on the other side of the island. Overall, the Crofton Ferry Terminal is a great terminal. But every person in Crofton and on Salt Spring Island is greatly looking forward to when construction begins on the new terminal!

I was the last car on and was relieved to get on. Everyone was friendly and professional. Ferry left on time. It was a nice ride to Vesuvious.

There's an awesome coffee shop to hit up while you wait for the ferry. Organized and quick ride.

Lovely friendly spot, with cafe near entrance. Vehicles line up on road which works fine. We’re on bikes and nice holding area out on dock. Lovely picturesque 15 minute ferry “cruise”

Launched a boat there. Low tide can be a problem for bigger boats, but not a bad launch.
