Great restaurant! Try the Eggs Benedict - Amazing! So good that my wife gets them for take-out a lot. Ignore the 1 star reviews - some people are just miserable. You'll have a good time and a good meal.

This was my first visit. I've passed by many times but never stopped in. I had the homemade chicken dumpling soup and a BLT. The soup was fantastic and the sandwich was great. My friend had the corned beef sandwich and the meat was so lean. It was wonderful. I will definitely be back to try some breakfast next time.

The food here is always fresh and flavourful and the owner's are friendly and make you feel like home. I love this place and everything I try is delicious. They are also very clean and the waitress is very courteous and friendly as well. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area

Cheaper and Faster Places with same quality food in town.Went for Sunday breakfast and was a little busy. When we first got in one of the servers snapped at us while we were waiting for a table, over simply asking if they had a place to sit while we waited for a table to be cleared. When we were finally seated, it took about another 10 minutes to order food, followed by an hour wait for our food. The food was good, but was way overpriced for what it is. I’ve had good experiences at the Dutch before, but there are places in town that are friendlier, faster and cheaper and we will just go to them for Sunday breakfast from now on.

I can't understand how this place is still in business. While the food itself is decent, I have never met a more rude or miserable person than the owner. The other server on the weekends is wonderful! But we had the unpleasantness of having the owner serve us this last time and I am appaled by her treatment towards her customers and staff. She was short and sarcastic and seemed irritated by every little thing. It took forver to get a refill from her, and when we asked how much longer for the food (after waiting close to 30 minutes for breakfast) she snapped at us and proceeded to complain about us as if we couldn't hear her extremely rude remarks! We even overheard her yelling at her staff. I don't know how the other server (who is honestly one of the reasons we kept returning) puts up with it, she looked like she was on the verge of tears and I honestly didn't blame her! It was so unprofessional and uncalled for. It would be different if she was maybe just having a bad day but she seems to be this miserable every single time. I am honestly dumbfounded that she is still in business at all after treating everyone around her like garbage. The restaurant is also extremely out of date with awful pictures of cats everywhere. After reading other reviews I can see I'm not the only one who feels this way. I would not recommend this place to anyone!! We love Kingsville because it's such a lovely town with the nicest people, but this place is definitely not a part of the small town vibe. Their sign outside reads something like We're not fancy but have charm".. what a joke! I hope the server there finds a new job and that the owner gets some serious help

Best Eggs Benny in Essex County and outstanding service!

The staff was friendly, the service was good and the food was yummy. The kids meal here was the first kids meal we have seen with decent pricing for kids meals in a long time. We ordered French toast and pancakes for my kids. They were both yummy. I had a corn beef sandwich which was great and my husbands breakfast looked good too. While we were there another couple ordered a waffle with whipped cream and strawberries I saw it on the menu and thought it looked a bit pricey so didn't order it but when it came out it looked amazing and made me want to go back to try it another time.

First off I'd like to say this place has amazing breakfeast 5 star good. I have had great experiences here till today I went in with my friends we had planned a breakfeast outing as we don't get out much these days and we got asked to leave because we had finished eating even though we were enjoying our visit over coffee. Also we were not there very long I have never in my life been asked to leave because we had finished eating very disappointed I don't think I'll ever go back.

Egg Benedict wasn't bad,home fries with onion was pretty good. But the server, owners wife was rude. One of those times u don't leave a tip. First or second in my whole life no tipping ..

This is the best Restaurant in the area. I can honestly say there is no better place to get a meal in the Windsor-Essex area. It is reasonably priced, the food is delicious, and the Wait staff is very friendly and accommodating. I don't know what problems other people have reviewing this restaurant as I've been there more times than I can count and never had a bad experience or meal. My personal favourite meal there is the Triple Decker clubhouse on Gord's bread. Always on Gord's bread.
