Budget Car Rental

I have been renting from these guys for years. I'm talking 2-3 times/month usually. I can't say enough good things about Andrew and how great his customer service is. I would highly recommend them as the only choice if you need to rent a car.

Absolutely zero star from me.I made a minivan reservation over the phone about a month ago for Canada Day weekend and I was just there to pick up the vehicle. The first answer they game me was we don't have minivan. They offered me a different cars with no sign of being apologetic. What really got me upset was don't care attitude. Long story short, they made some phone calls and decided to give me the minivan I reserved and the minivan was just sitting there on parking lot.If you like spending extra hour at the car rental place arguing and try to get what you reserved, this is right place. For me, this is absolutely the worst.Update: I got a reply from the owner asking about what happened, but first thing the owner of this place should do is to ask their employees what happened.Here is the picture of the tag belongs to the minivan I rented, so you are not going to have any trouble tracking it down. Also there were two other employees as an eye witness.

The service was crazy bad - the attendant was on the phone for a personal reason the entire time she was dealing with me (on hold for a lot of it).This likely led to the misinformation I received regarding the price. I left thinking I was going to be charged for a single day and ended up charged for 3 days. Had I known I certainly wouldn't have rented a car with them. Ugh!

I booked my car on the 29th June 2021, to be picked up on 3rd July at 10 am. I noticed that the opening hours of this location were 8-12 on Saturdays, so I planned the pick up accordingly. I went to pick up my car on time, only to find the doors closed and a sign saying they have decided to close on the 1st+2nd July, plus the weekend.I was not impressed. I called the Budget hotline and they had no idea what to do, only that they could cancel my reservation. As it was a holiday weekend, Budget said there was no other cars available in my area.I rented the car so I could drive my family to the airport in Montreal... so this caused a lot of issues for me.I complained to the Budget rep on the phone, but since then I have heard nothing.It was mind-blowing to me that this location did not check the car rental situation before closing for the weekend, since I booked on the Tuesday. A phone call or a warning would have been SUPER.

Nice clean vehicle, 16 cubic foot vehicle was ready to go for me. Backup camera was really nice to have on this type of vehicle.
