Awesome place to go and check out while in Victoria. It reminded me of who I am and where my heritage is from. Awesome staff and fine products for sale.

Just had an unpleasant experience here. We found a tweed coat my wife loved and has had her eye on for months. All 3 of them were marked down the same, $229 from $500. When we tried to purchase one they said the price was a mistake and it was supposed to be $299, refusing to honor the listed price. We have made large purchases here in the past but this has made us not want to return.

I had read about this shop before travelling to Victoria. I was interested in their sweaters and knew the quality would be good. When I walked inside, the owner and her helper were working on orders, which left me the time and space to freely explore. I was delighted at what I found. At some point the owner saw me browsing and asked if I needed help, etc. She was lovely and very helpful, as was her employee. In the end I bought a beautiful wool cardigan, a cute sheep scarf (I have tons of scarves but couldn’t leave without this one!) and some hilariously cute sheep coasters to take home. Sheep is definitely a theme here as is quality wool and tailoring. I definitely recommend stopping in and checking it out.

Quality woollens and other clothing at fair prices. I found the prices for Irish knitware, hats and shirts to be better here than in Ireland.

Do not buy a wool sweater here. A $180 item shrank two sizes after one wash in cold water. Store would not honor an exchange. Accused customer of washing it in hot water.

We bought an Irish saying in a wooden frame last year for my partner's grandmother. It was during the time that there's almost no tourist coming to town due to pandemic restrictions. The staff offered us different ways to buy the saying, with wooden frame or without or just with their regular frame. Due to that good experience we decided to go back and buy another Irish sayings for my partner's parents but I had an unpleasant experience with them. I was requesting if it's possible for the saying to be in the wooden frame rather than in the regular frame. They said they can't move it as they don't have time to do so, they are busy. The lady manager told me that they can order it for me but then ended up saying that their bulk order just came in so if I want they will do single order for that and I have to pay for the shipping which according to them would be very expensive. They ended up telling me that they will call me and let me know about it but it's been a month and I haven't heard from them. Well, I understand they are busy but I am looking for the kind of service we received before when we choose to support local shops during pandemic.One note though, I came in the shop in my not so touristy clothes and a dollarama bag, I don't know if that has a factor on the service I received that day.

The worst customer service. Correct that - no customer service!For a location that caters to the tourist trade, they sure do their best to make you not want to shop there.Actually, that was my experience in the Republic. So maybe it's on purpose.

The product selection was impressive but the staff were completely uninterested in helping or acknowledging my presence.

Lovely store with so much to select from. We bought a Guinness shirt for my hubby and 2 sweaters for when the cold weather returns. The staff were super helpful.
