Glass Doctor of North Vancouver

First-time customer for repair of a windshield chip. Very impressed with the customer service from Chris and the efficiency of booking the appointment and having the work done. They did all the legwork with my private insurance company. Made the whole process very easy. Won't hesitate to give them a call in the future.

I had previously used Glass Doctor North Vancouver to do 2 shower jobs as well as replace the glass in a sliding door. That door is now not sliding as it should. I just called Glass Doctor and they are now charging $500 just to roll a truck!! I find this completely offensive and will now not use them again.

BEWARE. This is not a local company. Communicating with the company is nearly impossible. No one knows what is going on. I phone and they know nothing and I have to start over. I am told someone will call and they don’t. Glass work was shoddy and leaking. It was only installed a month ago. Trying to get it repaired under warranty and they haven’t called me for almost two weeks. GO ELSEWHERE. Most of these reviews are fake. Don’t be fooled like I was.Update: 30 minutes after posting this review I was contacted by glass doctor via text and told I am on their list to do my repair. This was not communicated to me. When I called the company earlier today and spoke to their representative they didn’t know about my claim or the callout list either. I will update this review so everyone will be able to see if it gets fixed or not.Update: it is now EIGHTEEN days later and I have not heard back about my repair. I texted my local rep and 48 hours later I have not heard back from her. Customer service continues to be a 0 out of 10.

As Cooper said. Indeed beware of this chain. I had a windshield replacement scheduled for my vehicle. When I booked this job they told me they were in the process of moving locations but assured me they could do the job. Showed up the day of the job and saw the signs for the move. And sure enough no one was there... Tried calling and was transferred to a call center that took my info and placed an emergency callback" note on my file. No one ever called me back I proceeded to waste 2 hours calling them back and they just gave me the run around saying the same thing.. I was even transferred to the superviser and she said she would put me in contact with someone. Yet

I ordered a shower glass door from glass doctor March 27th. I've had the techs come 3 times and each time, I've been told the glass is manufactured incorrectly. I inspected the work recently and the fixed glass is installed on the wrong side allowing water to leak through. The fixed glass is also not level and the top rolling bar has been bent. This is absolutely unacceptable and I've been offered a $100 off.... Sure, that's something, but I'm getting sub par quality for 3 months and to see this, it feels like I'm getting robbed of my money. I've been in contact with Angelo and he has been understanding, yet it is now June 19th and I am still left without a shower door. He gave me the contact to the owner a week ago and I haven't heard anything back. I am left extremely frustrated. I contemplated leaving this review for many weeks and have hit my wits end not feeling reassured that the next time they come by, it will be done correctly.

I visited Glass Doctor on Nov 15, 2018 to repair rock chip on the windshield (I got the chip on November 13, 2018) After reviewing a lot of good Google Reviews, I decided to give it a try on myself!Right from the initial call to set up an appointment, the agent was very friendly and reminded me that they are actually open 24/7. So next time in the future, i will not wait until next day for the regular business hour!It took less than 24 hours for another agent to call me back to book an appointment for the repair. Again this agent was very kind and super helpful.When I went to Glass Doctor on November 16, 2018 the staff immediately greeted me with a big smile (which was great) and explained in details about the glass repair. Understanding mine was very small chip, they decided to repair for free (and I had my comprehensive coverage at ICBC).After 1.5 hours, the staff called me to let me know the car was ready to go. The repair quality was superior and they even gave me a can of glass cleaner for free.I have attached photos of the original damage on the windshield, the repair result, and a pic of free glass cleaner!I highly recommend this place to everyone and will gladly come back if I have any broken glass in the future.

Fast, friendly and efficient service! They know what theyre doing and great customer service.. And did i mentioned that i got a compliment glass cleaner? What else can you ask for? Highly recommended.. Thanks Chris and Glass Doctor!!

We put our bike rack through our back window on Monday night. I emailed a request for service and Justin called me at 8:10 the next morning, confirming that the job can be done THAT DAY! I did get another quote, but Glass Doctor was a couple of hundred dollars cheaper!The car was dropped off and picked up again within 6 hours - all fixed!We are thrilled with this service and Justin was helpful, professional and offered a very fair price to us. We would highly recommend the Glass Doctor!

Service was great and quick but they were not upfront about the deductible charge and damage on the vehicle caused by the break in. They wanted the service so instead of letting me know there’s more damage they fixed the window and then told me about the extra damage. After receiving my vehicle back, I found large glass pieces in the center seat, along with tiny glass shards on the interior door.

They did an excellent job and it was in freezing temperatures. They arrived as scheduled and kept me informed. They answered all my questions and completed the work in an efficient manner. The new windows (and there were many) were cleaned inside and out. The cleanup was thorough as well. There were a few extra things I needed done and there was no problem with that. Wow, I am very pleased with this company. I have to say that they were not the most expensive estimate either. 5 Stars for sure.
