Nickle Lake Regional Park

Very nice. Enjoyed our stay. The store is very handy!

Only one thing to say negative and that is the showers are poor pressure but they have one of the best boat launches we have used

The camp ground, ball fields, and events all run smoothly. The water is green so plan to shower if you go swimming. The people are fun and friendly.

We surely enjoyed our time at Nickle Lake. Good food, ice cream was good. Music was a surprise. Denis and Curtis Ficor were playing the music enjoyed. We used the public washrooms they were very clean and well supplied.. we where only able to.get into overflow on upon arrival. We took it was non electrical.and no water. But we managed. Would go back In a minute. Very pleasant people..

Pretty good campgrounds. Not enough trees and privacy between sites for my liking. Great place for children to have fun and meet others.

Loved camping with my daughters! The beach was great and so was the ice cream! Scenery was beautiful and the fact you can have firewood delivered to your site was fantastic!

Quiet relaxing and very amazing canteen

This has been our visit to Nickle Lake and will not be our last. Fantastic staff. The grounds are super clean and the sites are a decent size. We are on the shadyside of Dorsh. Perfect size. Only thing I would say that is not so favorable is the quantity of wood for the price of the wood.

2 stars is being generous unfortunately. During my stay here the bathrooms and showers were disgusting. My sister found a used sanitary pad in her shower, globs of hair, they were just quite gross in general. The seasonal sites washrooms were nicer, and cleaner than the ones we had in our area.The small store by the beach is also questionable. A worker was at a table, not behind the counter so we thought they were a customer, then they served us our icecream without washing their hands or putting on gloves.The lake was pretty, I really wanted to have a good time here, but with how gross the showers were, the questionable sanitary practices at the store, the lack of things to do without a boat, none of my family had very much fun here.Other people seem to love it there, so I hope the problems we had were a temporary thing.

Sadly this campground is in need of a good clean up and maybe some updating. Staff was pleasant and allowed us to change sites. No firewood available on Labour Day long weekend!!! Our firepit (which we didn't use) was full of garbage. Bathrooms/showers clean and decent. Laundry room was horrendous but we still managed to do a load for $2.00. The airshow" put on by the birds (swallows? starlings?) in the evening was spectacular."
