Victoria Aikido Centre

I visited this dojo for a few weeks prior to the pandemic. I thought the teachers were good, and many of the students were friendly and welcoming. However there were quite a few arrogant and rude students as well. They constantly corrected me with a bad attitude (and they were not necessarily correct). One person (a black belt) was doing the wrong technique himself while trying to correct me. Overall the experience made me feel unwelcome. Perhaps this dojo has improved since I visited.

I have attended this club for several years now and it has truly changed my life. Great people, martial art, and philosophy. I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a change in their path. Excellent children's aikido program as well. Check it out, you will not be disappointed!

Victoria Aikikai is an amazing place. The instruction given is coming from such a breadth of experience, there's no doubt you're in the right hands. Everyone is friendly, warm and caring. It feels like a family. If you are interesting in honing your body as well as your mind, I highly recommend you try out a class at Victoria Aikido Centre.
