Action Chem-Dry

I had a guest with a pet that used my home as a bathroom. I tried everything. Then I did a whole bunch of research before reaching out to Chem-Dry. I am out of their usual area but they came anyway! Their technician, Nick, was incredibly informative and explained everything that he was doing and why. This treatment made a huge difference to the smell in my home. I'm very happy with the final results.

We had a gentleman named Ekam come to our house and clean our carpets. He was very polite and professional and did an amazing job! Hopefully in the future when we use this company again we can get the same great service we received today. Thank you Ekam.

We've used their service two times now, and are remarkably impressed. Our carpets are left looking and smelling as good as new, causing our entire home to simply feel spotless! The second visit, we also had the technician do our cloth couch, and again, everything was as good as new! We can't thank you enough, and look forward to scheduled future cleans!

Excellent customer service, professional staff and amazing results! We had our carpets cleaned and it made a huge difference, they look brand new, smell nice and the air quality has definitely improved. It took about an hour to clean 3 bedrooms, a hallway and a staircase. The young gentleman who came in to do the job was very polite, thorough and friendly. The carpet was dry within a few hours and it was the easiest service I've ever booked. We definitely recommend this company, as they provide great quality service for a great price!

This review is long overdue. This is the second time we are using Action Chem-Dry (Oakville) for upholstery cleaning services and I had reached out to them a few weeks before this past Christmas (2020)needing several couches, a sectional and a chair to be cleaned. Debbie at the offices was very accommodating to our needs and was able to provide their services on a short notice especially since it was a busy time for them.Our technician was Phil, he arrived on time , wearing mask and all for COVID protocols , I showed him where all the pieces were located and then he set up everything and began the cleaning process. Phil did an incredible job especially in some areas that had stubborn stains , he wouldn’t give up on them. Once all was done he would check in with me to have a look at the pieces that were cleaned as it would be a few hours before they were totally dry.I highly recommend Phil , he was very courteous , did an awesome job with the cleaning and was very careful with moving some of the things around. If anything needed to be redone due to an old stubborn stain all we had to do is contact Debbie and she would have him come back to redo.Again I highly recommend this company, their services and Phil and I would most definitely use them again in the future.

Some old carpeting needed to be cleaned one last time. ChemDry did a very good job. The technician arrived on time and was very efficient. The carpet dried quickly.

I recently used Action Chemical-Dry for broadloom and expensive wool area rugs. Phil arrived on time and was very professional. Cleaning wool area rugs in home is costly but worth it vs having to move furniture and arrange pick up/delivery of rugs. I am sure companies that pick up rugs for off site cleaning are also very costly. I had a small issue with the wall to wall broadloom and I contacted the company. They were extremely responsive! The problem was some buckling/rippling which fully resolved but they still sent Phil back to make sure things were ok. He explained why this sometimes happens with certain types of rugs and latex backing. It is refreshing to deal with a company that does quality work and is responsive if there is an issue. I would use them again and recommend them for area rug or wall to wall broadloom cleaning.

We had a very bizarre experience using this company. I called last week to get an estimate for 6 dining room parsons chairs and indicated we only wanted the seats and backs cleaned, not the skirts. We were quoted $210 + tax which seemed reasonable. The service rep came today. We were expecting him between 9 and 10 and he was here at 8:50 which was fine. Nice enough fellow. The strange thing was that he came in a cabinet refinishing truck??? We had told the lady at the office that we would like for the service rep to wear a mask and she said that would not be a problem but the man who showed up said he has asthma and can't wear one. He did not remove his shoes. He said we were misquoted on the phone and that the cost would be $60 per chair. We went ahead with the service. The lady at the office told us that they do not use chemicals but a carbonated water system, which we were happy to hear because we have a small bird and a dog with sensitivities.. Well, the rep used various chemicals and now the house stinks! He also told us that we are no longer Action Chem Dry's customer but HIS customer, which I didn't quite understand. There were some old stains on the chairs that he could not remove, which is understandable. The chairs are marginally cleaner but it certainly wasn't worth the $60 per chair. Plus, misleading us that no chemicals would be used and no company vehicle (he said he came from Orillia)??? We live in Burlington. Very, very strange overall.

I was quite pleased with the services performed by Phil at Action Chem-Dry Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Oakville. The job was done quickly and the results were amazing. Phil showed up on time and he was highly professional and very friendly . I would recommend this company to everyone in need of a good carpet cleaning

This is our second time using Chem-Dry. This time it was for pet stains thanks to our Covid puppy. Now there is no trace of the stains and they were able to remove years of built up dirt in high traffic areas. Chem-Dry saved us hundreds of dollars that replacing the carpet would have cost. I also love how quickly it dried. We were able to put everything back in the room just hours later. Excellent service, excellent value. This is now our family go-to for carpet cleaning.
