Centreville Recreation Park

Grew up in this park and loved it , a lot of money has been spent on this park in the last 10 yrs . 4 ballfields , a great playground and lots of wooded walking trails .

Wow...really nice looking park! Well kept and clean with plenty of mini trails around. Great reason to be outside for all ages.

The park is not to farfrom my home its is a nice walk and a quiet place to sat and take the views in and watch the little children play and run

I love right near the park. It is an amazing place to go for a walk, take the dogs to play, go shoot some hoops, or play a game of ball. It's a large area and I love to visit. The parking situation is extremely bleak for the events being held there, and needs to be expanded as it does cause some traffic issues on Sherman Belcher during weekends in the summer. Overall i love it!!

Great parking and clean washrooms. Good place for kids to play ball.

Goodpark on a good location.If it was a little bigger i thibk it would be better.But there is stuff to do for kids of all ages which is very good!Love that there is a baby swing there for the littles ones.Think the picnic tables ahould be spread out a little bit more thrpugh the play area though.So parents can watch thier children at whatever angle if they are sitting

Nice playgrounds (1 for toddlers and another for bigger kids), 3 baseball diamonds, an outdoor basketball court (10 ft rims with chain mesh) and a short, well-groomed hiking trail with a picnic pavilion tucked away in the forest. Also a couple soccer fields.

Great park with lots to do! Walking trails, large playground, baseball and soccer fields, and more. Came for an orienteering event and I'm really glad I know about this gem now!

Very nice community in centreville with donated balls and stick for kids to use. It really made my day with my nephews, thank you kings county

Wow! What an amazing park! This is one of the nicest parks that I have had the pleasure of visiting. The forested walking / biking trails are immaculately groomed and the park is always clean. The park fosters a lively atmosphere which makes for the perfect family outing. There are basketball and field hockey courts (with a public box for gear), a bike repair station with free tools and air pumps, a large and well equipped playground, multiple baseball and softball fields, a short BMX track, a soccer field, a forested walking trail, and a picnic gazebo (within the forest). Amazing gem located close to Kentville and New Minas. Bonus tip: In the winter people will cross country ski through the trail system. Definitely something to check out for local winter activities!
