Fish and Chips were good, just a tad greasy.Thai Carrot coconut rice soup was excellent! I wish I had more of that...slightly spicy hot full of carrot and rice....

We had a great little day trip in the area, and decided to check this place out. Service and the food were wonderful. Beautiful patio too. We had the clam appetizer as a starter to go with local draft beers on the hot day. Refreshing and Perfect way to start off our meal. ,Fish and chips were fantastic, and the grilled chicken pesto on a bun were spot on.Ice cream cones were a nice dessert to finish it up. Definitely recommend when you're out in the area. Will be back.

I ended up in sleepy Haldimand County to pick up a new vehicle from a local car dealership, but the drive there from St. Catharines took so long my family and I were starving afterwards. Caruso's is the only local place to eat in Cayuga, but let me tell you, it's the only place there needs to be. This place is awesome. The woman who served us (I believe she is the owner too) could not have been more pleasant, warm, and inviting. She told me she makes everything in the restaurant homemade herself, and I believe her. Everything was delicious--we tried off each other's plates--the Canadian burger, fish and chips, tacos, and poutine. The place was clean, quiet, and casual, and great prices for everything too. My parents are from the US and are not really accustomed to some of the subtle differences in culture and etiquette we have here in Ontario, sometimes they feel like fish out of water, but the staff here made them feel like they were right at home. Canadian hospitality done right! We will absolutely be back.

When they first open, we were not impressed with the food. Last Friday we thought of giving them another try. We were very disappointed in the service, food, and when it’s packed, it is extremely loud, almost unbearable. We are certainly not going to go back again too bad, because Cayuga needs good restaurants.
