Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)

The staff here are very rude, unhelpful and full of attitude. It took me 3 visits to get a simple check done. It seems they try to may it as difficult as possible.

I went to apply my police certificate today. The first staff I met she was friendly, she told me it’s too many ppl now and she’s alone. So I went to get lunch and came back.It’s not the same person anymore.This time, is the other staff, she was full of rudeness and attitude.I told her I want a police certificate with fingerprints for new work permit. She doubted me rudely. “Why? What’s the purpose to apply fingerprint one? I can also search it with your name and birth”Actually, I couldn’t answer her this question, because that’s what I got three years ago in the same place. I thought they changed the rule.She asked me to sit down to get the proof that why would I need the fingerprint one. She also asked me to contact my immigration agent to confirm what should I get.I CANT!! My agent is in Taiwan, she was in her sleep time when I was in this place!!!!!!Anyway, I told her I need police certificate for sure, I just can’t tell which one should I get. She started to confuse me and keep cut my talking. She wouldn’t let me speak, she just wanted me to answer yes or no. I may not native English speaker, but that doesn’t mean I can’t speak.The feeling I got were impatient and looking down on me.

A lot of these female RCMP officers I've met have a pompous attitude. It's great not to hold prejudices. Where's the professional training, eh?

Extremely rude and condescending girl at the service desk. Clearly did not want to assist me at all. Should learn to be helpful to others, especially in your place of employment.

Above the front entrance this detachment IMPROPERLY the word Respect. The error is spelled as RESPEKT.......THUS THEY EARN THE BONEHEAD OF THE YEAR AWARD.

My review is for Cst. Mayer. Cst. Mayer has gone above and beyond to bring justice- to serve and protect. He is real, down to earth and easy to talk to. He helped me tremendously through a very complex situation. It is evident that he works hard to ensure the safety of people in the community. I will always be appreciative of his hard work and dedication. Thank you Cst. Mayer!

Seems this detachment has some issues with knowing its a good idea to speak with all parties involved. If not, as in my situation when I didn't see an issue after a crazy high or drunk guy, who had got out of his car screaming all sorts of profanity and threats at me. He decided to this detachment I pass all the time, but you don't believe a sob story from the crazy guy who, feared for his life"... That what I've gathered
