Hotel Halifax

I never give 5 stars but my experience at this hotel was above and beyond my expectations. Patrick at front desk was fabulous! Excellent service! Kind, patient and understanding. Clean room. Pool and gym are just perfect. Thank you to all the hard workers who made our stay the most comfortable.

Excellent stay here! Loved the room, it had a balcony overlooking the water. The pool was amazing! Sauna was lovely as well. Pedways to the waterfront were very convenient.

Do not waist your money on this hotel.I had stay for only two days, there is no clean up or room clean up for both days, first day I called before leaving my room and asked just for new towels when I return to my room there were not any new towels, for both days at the hotel someone from the front desk come to open my door for me and even I did has access to my room and for 3 times i had to come downstairs just to has access to my room, In addition i asked them only for bottle of water and they just brought me only one bottle, Next all the plumbing are damage when you are taking shower waters staying and all rooms are super old.I paid almost $170 per night and worst ever experience i ever had, I was at room 727 and never forget this worst experience.This hotel is 2 stars at the maximum rating with my experience with more than 100 hotels. You can not call it even a motel.be careful do not waist your money.

The room was very quiet and we had a corner room which was really appreciated.The pool was a little colder than we expected, but the adult only hour was quiet and relaxing.Check in was delayed but the process was easy and the staff were very friendly.

Spent three nights here and it was a wonderful experience, largely thanks to Wonnie at the front desk who shared lots of great recommendations for the city and was so personable and kind. Rooms are fairly basic but served their purpose just fine, and location was excellent for access to downtown Halifax and the waterfront (and other parts of the city if you don’t mind an uphill walk!).

The room was very clean. Clean bedding, clean linen all around. The view was decent. I could see the clock tower from my room. Parking is limited and suggest just taking the local bus. It's very easy to get around Halifax. The hotel is directly attached to Scotia square, the mall in the area. The food court area is directly off the hotel entrance to the mall. Friendly staff and decent prices round out the pleasure of my stay.

The rooms are quite outdated but the location is incredibly convenient. Easily accessible by the wharf walkway and can get you to waterfront quickly. My only complaint is that the keycards are super annoying to deal with as they take multiple tries to work. They are very susceptible to getting demagnetized as well so we had to go down and get a new card. Despite these nuances it was a pretty pleasant stay!

Had an excellent stay here over the weekend! It's centrally located minutes from everything you would want for your Halifax stay and has a wonderful restaurant attached to the hotel. I also like to highlight that we received amazing customer service from Patrick who really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a 10 on 10. Thank you to everyone for helping us have a wonderful vacation!

Overpriced and dated.Hotel Halifax has a great location and that’s about it. The rooms are dated, the hotel is dated, the parking is inconvenient, and the price point does not match the quality provided.Rooms are only cleaned every 3rd day at best and you have to phone front desk to request refills on toiletry items or having garbage cans emptied.
