Ottawa Fire Station 41
Called the station one morning to see if my son could visit and see the firetrucks. It was a quiet day and the firefighters were more than happy to have visitors - they opened up two trucks, brought out a bunch of equipment, and let my son and a couple of his friends climb in the trucks, and try on their equipment. They we all extremely interactive with the kids and completely made the kids' day. Super impressed with their community involvement, openness, friendliness and expertise! Thanks for taking care of our community :)

We went with our Beaver troop (Boy Scouts age 4 - 6). The kids really enjoyed it.

The people working at this station are awesome. My kids wanted to visit the place; we just knocked on the door and were given a detailed tour of the station. The guy who led the tour showed my kids every tool the firefighters used and answered all their questions patiently.
