Cathy & Dennis, proprietors, could not be nicer and accomodating people. Weather was poor for our fishing trip this time, but it's that time of the year. Still enjoyed our visit.

My first time going to this store was to buy some ice fishing gear. We drove 30 mins in a car with the heat blasted so we entered the store with just sweatshirts on (coats in the car). The guy wouldn't sell to us because we weren't wearing proper winter clothing. Never going back.

Dennis Is an arrogant, disrespectful good for nothing grump. I came out from Alberta to visit with a local well known family. We tried to do a little pan fish fishing there and he told us you boys ain't fishing here". He doesn't even own the land. I suggest you go see Rose at Mitchell's bay bait and tackle for all your needs and even a free smile"

I was thoroughly insulted with the owners behavior towards getting a fishing license. She proceeded to tell me I was standing too close, to back up a few steps, as she had covid many times, but yet no mask in sight. Customer service goes a long way.We will not use their services to launch our boat, nor make any fishes or hunting purchases. Very rude..

Bass Haven has all the services that you need to camp, boat, fish and get the supplies you need to enjoy your day or week. You can purchase your fishing license, tackle, snacks, ice, gas, live bait and launch your boat. They also know what type of fish are biting and where the fish are located out on Lake St. Clair. Bass Haven is well secured for safety and is under constant vigilant eyes which makes you feel secure while your out on the water enjoying your day. I can't wait to get back to Bass Haven.

Did some ice fishing out of bass haven. The staff was knowledgeable and helped us get on the fish. They also had a large assortment of tackle and snacks. Was only a 5 mn.i use hike to lake st Clair. I would walk from here again

Just left bass haven didnt even make it to speak to someone before whoever was in the store was very rude and aggressive towards me and my wife it was our first time there we seen the sign on the way to go fishing and were going to purchase fishing bait and other things from there but decided to turn around and go spend out time and money elsewhere seeing as the lady was probably the most rude person I have ever spoke to

Excellent place to launch your small to medium size boat.I have a 16 ft deep V.Great price,$10, honour system to pay, must bring exact cash. No change. Worms available for $3. Great day.Smallies, bucket mouthes and walleye, not pickeral!Will be going again soon.
