Stayed for 2 nights in their superior room". What was advertised as a cute cabin near the Rockies was more like a dirty roadside motel.The room had a thick layer of dust everywhere

The Overlander has always held a very special place in our hearts. We stayed here years ago on our honeymoon. It has been more than a few years since then, but we always find our way back to this quiet inn, run by staff who really know how to make you feel special. I recommend this place as one of the most beautiful places to stay that I know of.

We had a delightful stay at this hotel. We were fortunate to be assigned a mountain-view room, which was spectacular! The room was traditional, but that only added to the charm, and yet it still had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (including delicious organic coffee) and was very clean.The service was excellent both from the front-desk and restaurant, where we enjoyed breakfast in the morning. The breakfast isn't the cheapest, but it was fresh and delicious. The chef was also able to make adjustments for our dietary needs too, which was much appreciated.Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Staying at the Overlander was a wonderful experience. The staff was so warm, helpful, and friendly. They went out of their way to make our stay special. The log buildings are beautiful, and our room had a gas fireplace, a nice sitting area, a huge deck and an amazing view. The chef in the restaurant had an amazing menu and everything tasted so wonderful and full of flavour. The waiter was knowledgeable, and provided the perfect balance of attentiveness and privacy. An outstanding place to stay.

Stayed in one of the mountain view rooms. Very cozy and comfortable. The view is fantastic.The highway is close, so it was a bit noisy. I wasn't bothered by it, but my partner was.Beautiful hiking trails accessible from the property if you're so inclined.Worth the money to stay here for a couple of nights!

This place is without a doubt the most beautiful place I have been to to this day!We were evacuated from our home in Edson to keep my family close to me, they gave us a MASSIVE discount on their gorgeous 3 bedroom 4 bed, 2 bathroom chalet. Tim and Curtis (I hope is his name) Were so completely thoughtful and you could just tell these are such genuine people. We didn't end up needing the chalet but they treated us as if we had been there a week. While the chalet is pretty high end, we would love to be back for one of their more modest hotel rooms. Thank you again!

The start of our vacation ended up here and we absolutely loved it. The service was great, check in went smoothly. The hotel staff was inviting, instructions were clear, when we got to our room it was perfect, small, inviting and comfortable. We got unloaded and went in for food and drinks. The wait staff were unbelievably friendly, and food and drink menu was on point. I Def recommend this place to anyone , we will definitely be coming back here for another stay in the near future

We have spend one night at the Overlander Lodge just before Christmas on our way through to visit family in Edmonton. What a beautiful and well kept place, clean, quiet and nicely decorated for Christmas. Amazing staff from the reception to the General Manager. Great restaurant, we had dinner and breakfast and spent some time at the fire place after dinner. We want to mention the GM Mr. Lang who took the time to show us different room and chalet options and who also was in the restaurant when we had dinner, he is from Germany just as we are and we had a very friendly and informative chat. Then the next morning we had an unexpectedly long breakfast when Michael, our breakfast server, not only was one of the friendliest servers we had in a long time, he also told us about the history of the lodge and the region and explained the surrounding mountains to us. Such a beautiful experience when staff takes their time to interact with guests. We wanted to come back after New Years on our way back to BC but unfortunately the lodge was closed for 2 weeks.
