Bangkok City Cafe
A small Thai restaurant in Kits with friendly service. Neatly presented food with reasonable prices. The food comes pretty fast (wasn’t too busy and it only sits about 8 tables but lots of delivery orders).The fried tofu was hot and crispy. The pad thai was good although some may think the sauce too wet. The owner convinced us to try their special - duck curry. It was tender and tasty. Only critique is the coconut rice didn’t taste very coconut-ty or at all and they were out of coffee. Overall, better quality and value than places like Thai Basil.

Our go to place for thai food. The food is always delicious and the owners are always very friendly. They do delivery within a certain radius as well!

Bangkok City Cafe
This is a gay friendly establishment. This place is only open for a short few hours in the evening and almost every night is filled with customers. Had some really good curry, pork belly, beef fried rice and roti. It was really delicious. The staff and owners did a wonderful job of making us feel welcome. Definitely got really high quality food and service for the affordable price we paid.

Had the Spicy Eggplant dish with tofu which I think was well made but just too sweet for my taste. Service and ambiance was pleasant though.

Excellent!! I ordered take out and it was just perfect!! Vegetarian Pad Thai with extra veggies, green curry with chicken and extra veggies and no bell peppers. No mistakes and absolutely delicious!! Will definitely order again!!

It was our first time to try Thai food at this restaurant. It opened on Sunday at noon. There was street parking on west 4th but we parked our car on 3rd for free.We were the first customers or first table. We had already looked at the menu before we got into the restaurant. Once we sat down, we ordered the food right away. My sister ordered a dish of spicy curry beef with rice and I ordered pad see iw. Both the presentation, colours, flavour and fragrance made the dishes great! One thing about the dish that we thought the restaurant could be improved on was the beef. The beef that they chose and cooked in the pad see iw and spicy curry beef dish was very tough and chewy. If the restaurant could choose a little bit better on the part of beef or cow, the dish would be perfect. I literally had to spit out some of the beef that I couldn’t swallow.The customer service was good. The servers noticed my glass of water was running low, so they would keep adding water to my glass without asking. I really appreciate it. We also chatted with the owner. He was very friendly.If we are in the neighbourhood and crave for Thai food, we would come back to this restaurant :)

Bangkok City Cafe
After not visiting for a long stretch we returned to Bangkok City and am reminded how truly fabulous their food is. I love Tom Yum Kai soup and theirs is so FULL of flavour! Everything else was great as well (Red curry and Garlic pork). The atmosphere and staff are also a warm experience. Highly recommend it.

My girlfriend and I recently dined at Bangkok City Cafe and I must say, we were blown away! The food was absolutely delicious and the prices were extremely affordable. The Chicken Satay was delicious and the peanut sauce was a perfect combination, the Calamari was so flavourful also. The Red Curry was bursting with flavour and the Massaman Curry was a perfect blend of sweet and savory with beef so tender it melted in my mouth.But what really made my dining experience at Bangkok City Cafe stand out was the owner, Chris. He was incredibly welcoming and made sure that we had a great experience. He even took the time to ask us where we had come from and expressed an interest in everything we said.Overall, I would highly recommend Bangkok City Cafe to anyone looking for delicious and affordable Thai food. The quality of the food, combined with the exceptional service from Chris, truly make this restaurant a five-star experience!We will be regulars in Bangkok City Cafe now!

Carefully prepared authentic Thai cuisine. Service with a family feeling and warm welcome. The mango sticky rice brings back memories of street dessert in Chiang Mai. Great for dine in or takeout.
