Cater To Computers

I LOVE my new laptop from Cater To Computers! They were super fast at getting it ready for me. They were so friendly and kind and took the time to help me choose out the right one for me and answer all my questions! And it was a GREAT price and included everything I could possibly ask for and more!I will be doing all my computer business with them and would suggest you do too!

Immediately upon enter the store and meeting the owner for the first time, his condescending attitude was astounding! Being new to the community, I proceeded to deal with him. Bad decision!Went in with a problem organizing photos & was told our Windows 8 was a mess!! Two days later we had an overpriced Windows 10, lost camera card and more problems than we ever had! No matter how many times we called, he couldn't help.Doesn't even deserve a 1 star.Should have checked these reviews first.

He couldn't even change over a few fans for me, told me they were not compatible with my PC, that took 48hrs not same day, then he charged me $40 basically for not doing anything. He also asked for my password, even though it was a hardware issue not a software issue. I hired another guy, he had it done in 20 min with no excuses, don't waste your time with them, they are fraudulent business, you're better off going to Staples.

After a awful experience from another computer repair man I took my laptop into this guy. I told him what was happening with the other guy and what I was told about the laptop and what the other guy had damaged trying to get into the laptop. Caters took the laptop from me and said it would be a $40 bench charge" to figure out what was wrong. He called and told me he opened it up and looked at the visual damage that the previous computer repair man had caused and said that I should try and get compensation from the previous guy as the laptop was in bad shape. Git in contact with the other guy and he confirmed he did the damage and that he would order the new parts and repair it. I called back Caters and asked if I just got the parts from DLS would he fix the damage the other guy caused at our expense for us and find out what the other problem was to as why the screen isn't turning on and fix that for us at our expense. He told me no he would not as there was too much damage to the laptop and he just thought we should buy a new one? Ok. So I go to pick up the laptop have my bank card in hand and he tells me no $40 cash and I need to go to a bank machine? Ok fine. I ask if he would charge $20 as he did not actually do a "bench test" and figure out the problem and just opened it and looked at the screen and clip broken and decided he wasn't going to work on it. Oh boy he starts condescending me and belittling me so I leave go get the cash and pick up my laptop!! Quite an experience thus far on trying to get a laptop fixed. Will obviously never return here."

Horrible customer service. Andrew, who says he is the owner, is so arrogant its unbelievable. He treated me so bad when I was trying to get help with my computer that I couldn't believe I was in an actual retail store, I felt like I was in a back alley somewhere dealing with a rude sketchy pusher". Their website even states "We beat the big box stores on Value

Phenomenal service everytime, sometimes the 20% senior discount, sometimes free at counter.We love the store and the décor.5 stars from me

Feeling a need to speak to a sales/ service person that is arrogant, and be spoken to in a demeaning, insulting manner ( You're standing there but it's like your brain is somewhere else)? Enjoy spending $320 for a computer clean up ( Which supposedly included a 40% discount)? Returning the computer( a couple of days later) to see why certain issues still existed and be told " it was all working when it left here

Was in a pinch. He told me my laptop could not be fixed. Sold me another one and then added an additional $200+ on top to transfer the files back and install Microsoft office costing me over $1000 for what he told me was a quad core processor but was only a dual core. No refunds he said - only in store credit. It was not same day service either. He offed me $40 for my old computer that he said didn't work. I kept it. Took in to a reputable company just a while ago and it works. Go figure! Save your money and aggravation and go somewhere where they see you as a customer not as $$$.

We are lucky to have a person and business of this caliber in Strathroy !!Quick - I had my computer back within 2 hrsCommunication - Owner called within half hr of me dropping it off to discuss problem and cost of fixing it.Knowledgeable - explained why my computer was not working, what happenedEducational - taught me a few things I didn't even know of in our conversation about computers.Andrew is a great guy !!! Judge for yourself not by what others say .. it is possible the customer was having a bad day. I recommend Cater to Computers as I know the importance of customer service in this day and age.
