Absolutely staggering collection of vinyl and CDs. Came in with a friend with the intention of having a quick look around, but ended up staying close to an hour and leaving with a pretty penny's worth of physical music between the two of us. Lots of oldies and some new releases as well across more genres and artists than you could shake a stick at. As a first-time visitor, do not make the mistake of trying to rush your perusal - You'll want to stay awhile.

The guests on my tour love coming to Sonic Boom. The shop is more than a store, it's an experience! Not only does it have the largest selection of new vinyl in the city, but it also has cool merchandise, fun window displays, in-store concerts and a 45 vending machine!

This is a great store for your music needs. There's little wonder it's at the top of everyone list of Best Record Stores in Toronto.Huge selection of new and used and obscure records.A great selection of turntables and everything you need to operate the as well as additional items for taking care of your cherished records.

Omg, so much cool and in one place. Loads of vinyl and CDs and t-shirts and assorted other fun stuff. They had a dj when we went, not sure if that's a regular thing but it's very much enjoyable. We'll worth a visit

What a charming vinyl record store.I love the little details from the decor to the fun products side products they have for sale.I highly recommend taking your time to poke around -- you'll likely find something that catches your eye!Also don't be afraid to ask the delightful and helpful staff if you're in a pickle haha.10/10.

A heaven for folks who love records! For the rest of us, it's still fascinating to see the huge collection of all things music and beyond. Its definitely a fantastic throwback to see walkman and tapes. We didn't realize how big this place was until we walked down the stairs to find even more sprawling collection of records, collectibles etc. The neon signs and the cool signboards all over the store made feel like it's a music museum. There are tons of people which is pretty impressive. Here's another reason why Toronto is such a cool city!

The BEST place to buy vinyl in all of Toronto. Has the vibe of an old skool record store, but with a modern twist. They also sell CDs and other music related merchandise.

Was looking for a store to walk in to and get a new CD rather than ordering online. Had no idea it is close to impossible these days! Emailed Sonic Boom and they not only confirmed they had the Depeche Mode CD I wanted but also dedicated one of their windows to the album!Felt 20 years younger walking through the doors and will definitely be coming back. Note to self - buy a record player!
