National Car Rental

Can not say enough about National at the Buffalo International Airport. We got to choose our vehicle; because we needed a children's car seat it required the removal of the back headrest. We got into a Chevrolet Equinox only to find out GM vehicles do not allow for the headrest to be removed. The agent very patiently gave us other options and we ended up in a Toyota Rav4 with a few thousand miles on it. The vehicle was immaculate and fit our needs. Kudos to all of the employees at this location for their assistance. Would highly recommend.

Fraudulent company. I returned my car after a short rental and they sent me a damage claim and said my vehicle was in an accident. It wasn’t…but they sent me a bill for almost $3K. Don’t use these criminals.

Nationals customer service and THIS facility in particular are less than par, it fact it's awful. My flight arrived @ 10:30pm - the facility was to be open until 11pm.. when I arrived @ 10:45pm, it was a ghost town. I received no alert that they were closing early, I could not reach anyone when I tried to call. I had to pay almost $500 from another car service to rent a vehicle to continue my business trip. Since this incident, I have reached to National for an explanation of why the Buffalo facility was closed prior to the 11pm posting time...I have been passed around from eight different customer service reps with the same F.U" message.. "we are working on getting someone back in touch with you" ... it's been over a month. Beware if you are arriving on a late evening flight

I am an executive elite member of National car rental. I am currently stranded in a blizzard in Buffalo, NY snowed into a hotel across the street from the closed airport. I called today to try and change my return date (overdue because of the blizzard and the airport being closed) I have been across the street for 4 days. I can get a flight out of Harrisburg PA on Wed no flights closer until 6 days from now. I called National today. They are going to charge me $800 in rental extensions and an airport 200 miles away. 4 days stuck across the street from the closed rental car return. Completely disgusted. Absolutely the WORST customer service ever!!! I belong to a corporate account. I will definitely let them know. Completely disgusting to take advantage of stranded travelers like this!!!

Affordable price! The car was clean and new when we got it. Gas was in full tank and it was an easy check in and out. Deposit was returned quickly.

Had to rent a car to drive to Erie. The intermediate car was excellent. Very new and clean. Android Auto was a huge plus. Staff upon welcome and drop-off were excellent!!!!

When I first arrived to the booth, there were multiple lines with many people waiting. I suspected very quickly that I was going to have to wait a while. I was at the counter within a couple minutes. The young gentleman greeted me and pulled up my reservation. They didn't have many cars available right then, but he still asked what I preferred. I told him any car would work. He asked me to wait over there". Then proceeded to run to a returned car

Staff at this location was incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall great experience. They really did a great job, especially after I had to hit the eject button for my hertz rental and make a last minute rental with national. I appreciate the great work!!!
