Hectares of great trails in nature, with many species of animals, some seen more frequent than others. Bird sanctuary, many species of birds; hawks, rare owls and woodpeckers an arms length away. Have seen beavers, fox, turtles, and other animals. Great place to walk your dog, snow shoe, cross country ski, bike, or take a relaxing walk at any time of year, especially winter, when there are no mosquitos. Trails are easily marked, be respectful of trails and private properties.

What a beautiful park, and there are so many birds! The trails are well marked, and the paths are relatively clear, even around the more marshy areas. You can also see beavers, bats, turtles, and frogs which is fun!The only problem are all the mosquitoes; if you're going in the summer make sure you bring some kind of industrial strength bug spray. I went to bird watch and every time I would stop to look for a bird I was attacked by an army of mosquitoes, so this might be a better place to visit in late August/early September.

Interesting walk in the woods where entrance is hidden in residential area. Different circle walks (1km/1.5km). A bit confusing as we got off track a few times. Nice trees and saw two birds called (pic mineurs in french).

Walked on trails hoping to spot an owl, but no luck. Common birds like cardinals, black capped chickadees, nuthatchers, woodpeckers, doves, all of these types of birds can be spotted around the feeders which are found near the entrance. Trails are marked, and can be completed in a couple of hours. Find tranquility close to the city.

Nice little spot tucked behind a residential area of Ste Dorothee. It's nice and peaceful for a nice walk with a few trails. Got to see a few birds and enjoy the moment, to be away of the busy daily life.
