As much as I love shopping at the Opus store locations, the on-line ordering and shipping department has made me second guess. I'm a professional artist doing fairly regular commissions and have moved a fair distance away from any stores, so I started shopping on-line. My recent order wasn't shipped within the time stated when I placed the order, so I contacted the shipping department to let them know and they had made a mistake and it wasn't shipped. So I had to wait an extra week for my order to ship, putting my commission behind a week. When my order was delivered, two large canvases that I had ordered and needed were not there, so I had to contact shipping again to let them know and after a couple of emails back and forth they did not figure out what the issue was until I sent a copy of the packing slip and again, they had made a mistake and not included everything in my shipment. After reiterating that I needed the items right away as I was now over 2 weeks late on my commission and then waiting a few days with no response, I had to call again to get more help. The items were finally shipped and delivered the next day (3 weeks late). I was told the manager would call me back within a couple of days regarding some kind of compensation. It has now been weeks and I have heard nothing. If you are relying on having deliveries on time and considerate service, I would not recommend.

It is possible to pop in and purchase something here, but you need to know what it is and they'll grab it from the back!This was the question I had before showing up! The person who helped me was super kind, it was an easy and stress free experience. Fairly difficult to get to if you're walking from the train.

Do not order online, the absolute worse with delivery dates weeks out and no response from OPUS. Finally got my order and stuff is missing. Such a headache.

Do not recommend ordering online. Took 1 month to ship the order, and after that, no replies to my emails or no answer to the phone for another 2 months when I tried to refund an item that wasn't shipped. Never again.

I purchased a large order of printing paper from their online store. The website wouldn't complete the order for days. Then when it did I did not receive a receipt. I tried to contact customer support and wasn't responded to for days, until I called them. Then the customer service agent called me the wrong name (a womans, I am a man). Then after a week of waiting for the order the mudslides happened now the order is stuck in Vancoucer. I asked for the ETA of the order and didn't receive an answer for two weeks, and the answer is we don't know. There is paper in Kelowna from their store, but they cannot ship without sending it through Vancouver. Therefore shipping outside of Vancouver is useless right now for this company, which is a bad business model. So now it's been 3 weeks, I have no paper, no receipt and no ETA for when my order will show up. Horrible business experience.

I should have asked for a name from the person who helped me because they were AMAZING. I had to leave a review as soon as I got home.I went here accidentally thinking it's a retail store but it's actually a warehouse. The person at the front didn't bat an eye and said they'd help me get items if I knew what I needed. They made it so painless, fast and friendly. Very impressed.

**UPDATE** after posting this review I was contacted by Opus and finally got this resolved and a credit was issued. Thank You!I was a long time Opus customer, but disappointed by the customer service in my last experience. I ordered some frames in early Dec which were shipped out 10 days later. Upon arrival, the glass on one of the frames was broken. I emailed customer service with a photo and received no response. I followed up again and was told they would check with a manager and get back to me the following day. I followed up two weeks later and was told they could credit me the cost of a replacement glass, or I could drive 4 hours to the nearest store and pick one up. I opted for the credit, but received no response or credit. I emailed again two weeks later, still no credit or response. It’s now been over two months since I placed my order and this has never been resolved.

Wish I could love the business,but my order which was placed on 2nd September is not even shipped until today September 22th.I emailed to the customer team about an update with my order and said I'd like to receive it within this week.Few days later I received a short email response from Opus.But all I heard is there's a delay in the system and when there's an update, they let me know about the update.Yeah That's it.I am not sure if I have to wait another 3 weeks. Or another 6 or 9 weeks.I needed those order way earlier.I could've been fine if I received my order on the last day of the estimated delivery date.I had to run to michael's, and I had to buy replacement of items which I ordered I made to Opus.I still want those items I ordered.But I am so frustrated with my wasted time and extra money I had to spend for the replacement.I just do hope they ship my order within this year.
