Dan is an honest mechanic and a really decent guy

He's always been the best, most honest Mechanic I've ever worked with.

Before moving out of town, Dan was my mechanic for many years. I have to say that I received the best service from him and his staff not only in the work on my cars over the years but also in customer service! Never disappointed and always walked away feeling like I was taken care of honestly and with great professionalism. Mechanics like this are few and far between unfortunately but I am truly grateful to have stumbled across him many years ago and wish that I could still bring my car to him. Thank you Touchette for everything!

I used Touchette for several years before he closed his shop down. Today when looking for a replacement shop. I wondered if someone had taken over his. I was surprized to see that he had re-opened.I am happy to resume doing businees with Dan. He has always been fair, reasonably priced and a very pleasant person to do business with. Welcome back.

Took my car in last minute - so helpful and kind! They also put a new battery in my key free of charge which was great, and also let me know what needs to be done on the car in the future. Will definitely be going there regularly from now on! Thanks again :)

I made appointment with him last week and he led me to understand that it was an appointment with a set time like a lot of other shops do.I came in this morning early and he said no you have to leave your car here but I told him that was not the understanding I had with him because I try to make sure of things before I go anywhere.He made it seem like he was just doing this as a courtesy for people and that may be true but even if that is the case he should be upfront and honest about things.Times like these is why I stay single and don't buy much and then companies and organizations wonder why people aren't reproducing or purchasing that you used to.

Daniel is a really great guy and mechanic. He was super fair and honest about everything with my car, and gave me a better price than anyone or any business could have offered. He had a cheap and fast tow service, was very fast in fixing my car and communicating with me (identified the issue and had it fixed within 48 hours), and never tried to upsell me on a single thing.I highly recommend using Touchette and I will be returning for all of my vehicle maintenance needs

Mr Touchette was very nice and saved me from a possible catastrophic event. At the time I was driving a older 2 door 98 Honda Accord. I was recently just relatively new to the area and upon turning a corner at the Montreal rd and Vanier Parkway intersection I heard a loud thunk. I made a few phone calls and this garage was highly recommended to me and so close. I wasn’t able to drive any great distances anyway now that I had something clunking and dragging beneath my little car. Mr Touchette came outside right away and took old 98 in and popped him up on his hoist. Sadly my frame was rotten and had snapped in the centre of its front end. I was devastated that my 98 was no longer road worthy. Mr Touchette may very well have saved my life that day. Other mechanics would have probably scabbed it together with a weld and sent me on my way. Mr. Touchette was very compassionate about the whole ordeal and was able to secure another Honda for me straight away. Long story short, I wanted to give this garage a 5 star review and just never got around to it. However it’s better later than never. I highly recommend this garage for anyone who has daughters or sisters or just over all really cares about their loved ones. Most garages see us woman in distress and automatically find away into our purses. I sure don’t have deep pockets and Mr. Touchette did not financially take advantage. If you want a thorough mechanic at a reasonable price call Touchette garage in Vanier. I promise from my experience you won’t find a better place to care for all or most of your car needs.
