Lis Manson Piano Lessons

Lis has been teaching myself and my son for 4 months. She's been very thorough with her program and very generous with her time. Her flexibility is suited to our busy schedule and the progress we are making keeps us going back for more lessons.We highly recommend Lis.

As parents with no experience in playing piano, we had doubts if our son would like piano and be interested in learning to play. Later on, we decided to take our 8 year old boy to a music school for the first time and he was delighted by the living sound of this beautiful instrument. As we were in the process to make a decision, it came to my mind to consider private lessons at home as an option since he is a little bit shy, so I started to look for recommendations from our son’s friends parents. That was when we were referred to Lis. She’s been teaching our son for 6 months and we couldn’t be happier to see how he enjoys piano and plays anytime all the pieces that Lis teaches him. I think the connection that Lis has made with our little boy is the key for this success. He found motivation thanks to Lis who teaches step by step with lots of patience and fulfilling all areas of learning to achieve a strong foundation in piano. Thank you Lis for your support in discovering and enhancing this hidden talent in our little boy.

She's a wonderful teacher, I find her incredibly helpful as she's always very thorough with her teaching. She is also very friendly and great to talk to, I look forward to every lesson. I'd recommend her to anyone wanting to learn piano!

We started with Lis earlier this year and I am amazed at how quickly my son has progressed! She is patient and kind with a keen understanding of how people learn and how best to ensure the fundamentals of music are embedded well. She does this with enthusiasm and lots of encouragement. My daughter started piano lessons with Lis in October 2021. She had never played or read music prior to starting, Lis built a solid foundation for her to learn to play. Teaching her everything from the ground up. Always has encouraging words for her whenever she hits a new challenging section. We are so impressed with her progress! Lis is truly a wonderful teacher! Lis taught my girls (ages 8 and 10) piano lessons this year. She is a wonderful piano teacher who is very thorough in her approach to teaching and both flexible and generous with her time. Lis ensures students have a solid understanding of piano theory. She has a kind and patient approach with students yet also holds high expectations.
