Bamboo Garden Restaurant

Bamboo Garden used to be one the best Chinese food restaurants on the island but now that it's under new ownership, it has complete plummeted. I have tried it many times just to see if they were just having a bad day or whatnot but sadly no. Every time their egg rolls are burnt, their deep fried shrimp are 1% shrimp and 99% batter, and constantly terrible service. Hopefully they get their menu and products figured out soon, this place used to be the best.

Absolutely horrible experience. My partner and my meals came 20 min apart. After mass confusion as to what we ordered. Even after pointing out the items on the menu. There was a major language barrier. Food was a gooey mess the looked like it slid out of a can. When asked about getting a discount on our $54 meal we were yelled at in Chinese. F this place

First few times I went, I was so impressed!!! It was super! Went last week and was really looking forward to it. Walked in at 11:30 a.m. Started to sit myself and the girl tells me to wait and come back when they open. I said, you're sign says you open at 11:30???? She says open at 12 today. Wouldn't even let me sit at a table the little bit of time to wait. No sign on the door to state opening at a different time that day- just the one that says 11:30. 100 different things could have been happening but a sign on the door, remove the other sign, and perhaps some manners would have been nice.

Terrible. The food used to be good and we wanted to give it a try again. Terrible is the only way to describe it. The chicken balls were so hard we couldn't eat them. The rice was dried out. Never again.

Spent $65 at this restaurant the food was still frozen in the middle of the egg rolls the chicken bowls were still frozen in the middle as well the sweet-and-sour ribs tasted like they had perfume all over them the chicken chow mein was not even thought out and the Fortune cookies were staleHighly recommend never go to this establishment!

Gave this restaurant a try this evening and was pleased with our experience! Ready in 15 minutes after ordering.Restaurant was very clean inside, service was friendly and was offered help to carry my order to the car.Food tasted great and the diced almond chicken was the best I've had.Will definitely be going back!

I wouldn’t serve this food to a troll… had this last night and it’s just frozen food reheated… this food is unfit for human consumption. Rice was waxxy and disgusting the chicken balls were frozen breaded nuggets the egg rolls were disgusting. And had someone else not paid for it I would’ve returned it… Seriously I couldn’t believe that some one was sellling this as Chinese food. Do Not Waste your money here go to Sobey’s buy frozen Chinese food and cook it yourself be way further ahead. DISGUSTING AND UNFIT… I’d be scared to look on this kitchen…. SERIOUSLY GROSS FOOD. 1 star is 3/4’s to manny stars

I have gone to Bamboo Garden Restaurant 2 weeks in a row. Great food, service and the amount that you are getting for your buck is unreal. The new owners are trying very hard to a make a go at it. Give it a try, you will enjoy very much.

Used to eat here all the time but there have been a couple switches in ownership and things went downhill. Tried it again last week and again this week and was happily surprised by the food, service and cleanliness. Good food, reasonable prices. Everything was hot and good quality.
