Rainbow Bridge Toll Gate
Kinda weird to review a toll booth, but honestly can't say we've ever had a bad experience driving through here. Probably because the toll is on the Canadian side and their reputation as human beings is much better than that held by Americans (speaking as an American citizen myself), we've always had nice, and even comedic, booth employees thus far.Only dropped a star because they seem to be raising the toll over the years.

I crossed into Canada for the first time ever, I'm Mexican and I drove all the way from home to Canada by myself on my Mexican registered vehicle so of course the immigration officers sent me to secondary inspection but they were super nice, I've heard that they were very strict but super polite and didn't give a hard time, props for Canada and it was only a 15 minutes wait on the bridge, I loved it

July 2016This border crossing only allows cars and busses NO commercial vehicles. With my Nexus card, in hand, the crossing is painless.Crossing from the Canadian side to USA there is NO toll fee. Traveling from the USA to the Canadian there is a toll fee.The Whirlpool bridge is strictly for Nexus card users.The world has changed since 911(Nine Eleven). So, if you plan on traveling and exploring the world in the future, I recommend you acquire a Nexus" card and become a "Trusted Traveler".After a background check and a $50 application fee

The bridge is ruined by the US customs officers. Those losers will Canadian tourists crossing back over to Canada when they have nothing else to do for the crime of having a backpack. Not worth it, there's nothing good on the US side anyways.

Rainbow Bridge Toll Gate
We waited three hours to get from the light before the toll booth to the checkpoint. The local PD came after two hours of chaos from the traffic lights and folks parking in the middle of the intersection. The toll booth had two booths open on a Friday evening and the checkpoint had 5. This together was not enough to handle the volume and it seems like there needs to be a better traffic pattern to ensure the safety and kindness of all travelling.

Great Falls views. It's a border crossing. You'll need documentation. Signage is not as clear as you would hope. Agents on both sides are very helpful and understanding.
