Halifax Tailor

I came in to get my uniform for work tailored as it arrived two sizes too big. I got an appointment in the early afternoon, came in and got my uniform professionally assessed and pinned. They were so patient and answered all my questions. On top of that, they had my uniform completed within a few hours. They did a fantastic job! It now fits perfectly and is perfectly tailored to my shape. I am so impressed with the level of service, quality, and expertise.

Took my suit here to be Dry Cleaned. Staff was very friendly, and the price was much cheaper than I thought it would be. Will definitely be coming back.

Was my first time here and I think they recently just changed owners. I was greeted with friendly customer service and a clean and tidy shop. I came to get my dress altered. I had the impression that the workers there were inexperienced as I kept getting phone calls asking for dimensions and there was lots of confusion on what I wanted to get altered. This stressed me out as I had a million other things on my plate to look after for my event, and frankly, as a customer I should not need to worry about my tailor’s professionalism. I ended up paying far more than I was expecting as they undercharged me then called to ask for more money. I appreciate how punctual they were with getting dresses done on time but I think customer service needs some attention.

The customer service is impeccable and craftsmanship is even better. My wedding dress was altered here and I couldn’t be happier. I have no problem recommending Midyat Bedford to anyone. All around great service.

Absolutely fantastic! As someone who wears suits regularly for work, I have had many items tailored over the years. Never has this experience been more positive, or demonstrated greater skill, than when I came to Midyat. The staff are absolutely fantastic (thanks Helen!) and, despite a very challenging request (a morning suit for a wedding on short notice) the team at Midyat did an outstanding job. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

So I brought in a big bag of suit jackets and a couple of winter coats for dry clean and a few repairs, so I expected a big bill but not over $280 with tax! I was charged $113 to dry clean the two coats alone.The work was decent only reason for the 2 stars, because is was not a good value at all.If there was extra work done, the right thing to do would have been to notify me before adding costs.Update: Helen has acknowledged and has made this right. That makes all the difference.

I love this place! Staff really know what they are doing and offer great service. I found my wedding dress here and couldnt be happier with this little gem of a shop! I am an extremely picky bride and am so happy to have found staff with this kind of talent and attention to detail

Staff are very friendly and helpful. I had my second hand dress dry cleaned and am so pleased with the results. I also had my dress taken in to fit better, they did a great job!
