The team at Black Rooster Decor are fun, creative, and wonderful people. It was easy to find beautiful, interesting pieces from their well-curated collection. I purchased a special piece for my entryway and the process was easy. Unfortunately, the item got damaged during shipping -- to no fault of Black Rooster's -- and Colleen and her partner went over and above the call of duty to resolve the issue for me and my family. They were very understanding, kind and generous -- I can't speak highly enough about how well they treated me. Support these wonderfully creative people--they deserve it!!

Such a great store with unique and high quality pieces for your home. My husband and I had been searching for weeks for the right rug and we finally found Black Rooster Decor. Nina was incredibly helpful and kind, she walked us through options, and helped us get the right sized rug. I'm super happy with what we got, and we'll absolutely be returning!

A gorgeous, unique and local furniture store in the Leslieville area! Nina and Prince were so helpful when it came to figuring out which pieces would fit best in my home. All of the products I viewed were of high quality and the atmosphere of the store was homey and very aesthetically pleasing. All of the products are displayed as if they're apart of someone's home which makes it very easy to visualize how pieces would look in a practical setting. The website is also very easy to use and navigate which makes browsing through different products online a breeze. I've never written a review for a store on google before but I just had to for Black Rooster because of the great experience I had! Highly recommend, I will definitely be coming back for future purchases!

Ordered a piece in November 2021 and spent months calling and chasing Black Rooster down for a delivery date. They would promise to email us and keep us updated but never did. I even held a woman on the phone while waiting for her to email me and she didn't. 4.5 months later I finally had enough and cancelled the order. This product is clearly sold out everywhere as every other page shows Out of stock" - but still shows in stock on their website currently. When I asked if we could still be kept up-to-date should they ever arrive

Do not buy from this store. She avoids calls, will not ship your items, and will continue to lead you on saying that things are out of stock. Fraudulent business

Such an amazing store! I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area and are looking for some beautiful home decor and furniture pieces. I had a great experience picking out sconces for my home with Nina and Prince. Will definitely be back in the future!

Update: after reading other reviews I now realize that Nina is nothing but a criminal! Wow. Embarrassed I didn't read the reviews before ordering!I ordered $1500 worth of furniture and have been all but ignored by Nina, the owner. Due to the pandemic, I have been more than patient and understanding but she has now quit returning my calls and emails. It's unfortunate that I now have to dispute the charges with my credit card company. I called several times to check the status of my order over the last 3 months and I assumed she was being truthful but it's now clear to me that she never intended to fulfill my order. I've never left a negative review about a business. I hope this saves someone the headache Nina has given me.

Every time I visit Black Rooster I am reminded of how beautiful of a store it is! It’s obvious that the owner Nina has curated every piece with intent. There is truly no other store in the gta that compares to this!! Amazing products and amazing people ❤️
