Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Honestly I could not be more grateful to Mike for the hard work he did with the clog I had. He was here for a couple of hours and stayed positive and cheerful.

We have called this plumbing service several times in the past from fixing a plumbing issue in our bathroom to fixing drain clogging in our kitchen where the pipes were clogged. Each time the technician explained the problem and solution in detail. The price was reasonable and the work was professional. So far we are very happy and always call them when we have an issue.

This review is not about Roto Rooter but the quality of three technicians who came to my home. All were professional, kind, polite and very conscientious. First Rick arrived and after a bit of time a piece of his equipment broke. He phoned the office and they sent Richard to help out. The two of them worked as hard as they could to fix the problem. They checked everything they could think of. They did detect the cause but it was out in the center of the road, not on my property. I was the last call of the day and I could not believe how long they stayed to help. They spoke with the gentleman that the city sent out, telling him what they found. They stayed hours longer than they had to. I know they genuinely felt bad that they had to leave and the problem was not resolved. Austin who came the next day to retrieve the broken piece of equipment was the same when it came to a quality employee. Three amazing people...so treat them well Roto Rooter!

We had Daniel come to our house today. He was very professional. He left the house clean. He really made sure he did not do any damage to our newly installed stairs. He had great manners!! And on top of that he was able to solve our blockage problem. If I ever needed a good worker, I would hire him. Roto rooter is very lucky to have him. It is hard to find good help. If only I had known to call these guys when I first had a flood in my basement. Unfortunately I had Thos. R. Burnie & Sons come for the initial repair, and paid almost $1000 for the diagnosis and removal of the blockage. The quote to replace the broken pipe was over $8K, so I called Roto Rooter for a second quote. These guys were amazing to deal with, from beginning to end. Not only was their quote less then half of the other one, but they scheduled the work quickly, were extremely professional and polite and answered all the questions I had along the way. They've been back since, to cut down the back water value pipe, now that the dirt has settled more, and tidied up the front lawn. If you're looking for skilled plumbers, reasonable prices with a super friendly crew, look no further.

This is my first time needing this service.I wasn’t able to shut off my water to stop a bad leak and as a senior, I was frantic in trying to deal with it. My service person named Gregg came and was very understanding of my emotional state and emergency dilemma. What a stressful experience walking down to the basement to catch up on laundry after 3 days of illness only to be greeted by sewage backup, while home alone with my toddler and with little experience dealing with stuff like this. My SIL recommended roto rooter and what a relief. Problem solved within an hour of the tech arriving, and within three hours of discovering the problem to begin with! The technician, Chris M, was incredibly professional and helpful in explaining everything to me. He needed access in a weird unexpected spot in the basement and didn't hesitate to help me move all the stuff that was in the way. He explained everything by phone to my husband as well. We learned some new things about how the drain system was set up in our old house so we are better prepared to deal with any issues in the future. It was less than I expected to pay for such a quick emergency service. All in all a very positive experience.

They replaced my perfectly good sump pump with a replacement and charged me 629.00 for a new one and didn't fix the problem and then proceeded to walk through my house with his dirty boots on. When he first arrived he told me that he needed two people to go into my crawl space and couldn't do it. After I told him that I had talked to his boss on the phone and he told me that only one person was needed. Then he tried to remove my toilet to try and see what the gurgling noise was when that's on the other side of my house and nowhere near the problem and not why I called them. So after spending 1000 dollars between the sump pump and the time wasted for nothing it was definitely the worst mistake of my life. NEVER AGAIN!!
