First time. Last time. Food was ok. The portions are the smallest I’ve had for Chinese take out. We ordered 6 dishes plus two steamed rice. Barely enough for two adults and 3 kids. Don’t expect leftovers. We are not huge people with abnormally large appetites.

Avoid this place at all costs! We ordered takeout and were completely shocked when we opened the containers. The portion sizes were so small, it was unbelievable. The number 48, the Hunan beef, had less than 1/4 of actual beef. The entire bowl was filled with a terrible chewy (I guess it should have been crispy) noodle. The little bit if beef that was in there was practically inedible it was so salty and tasted scarily like bad oysters. The Szechwan chicken with spinach was the same issue, a bowl of fried spinach with a 1/4 cup of chicken. We didn’t even have enough for two people. I called the restaurant, as I just couldn’t believe this was possible.. I explained to the man on the phone that this couldn’t be right as a portion and he said he would ask the chef. I could hear cursing and yelling in the background. As the man returned to the phone, he said the chef says it is the portion, meat is expensive so end of story. I told him this is really unacceptable and I’ve called to give you an opportunity to make it right somehow or I’ll have to leave a review.. we want to support local, but this is not ok. He couldn’t have cared less, said Ok!, and hung up. Don’t waste your money here I truly believe they are running a scam and it’s too late once you get home with this “food”! So unfortunate we can’t have decent restaurants in Aylmer:(

We ordered for pick-up. The food tasted great but the portions are incredibly small. We had guests over so it was pretty embarrassing that there was not enough food for everybody. The standard foil/tin bowls used in every other restaurants are usually overflowing. This place however only gives you less than half a bowl. Very small portions. Would not recommend simply based on the amount of food received for the price.

Read the reviews, opted to go on quality over quantity. Fellow working there was very pleasant and explained the different food types and options of swapping on dinner for two. Food tasted great! Was enough for three people so don’t worry about the portion sizes. Go try them out! Oh and super fast prep!

My husband and I ordered maybe a couple weeks ago. We usually have a go to for Chinese food but decided to try something new. The food here tastes pretty good but unfortunately the quantities are just not worth it. The lemon chicken and General Tao chicken came in an okay size but what shocked us the most was the fried salt and spicy squid. It tasted good but we paid $15 for 13 little pieces of squid meaning we paid $1.15 per small piece. I’ve never been surprised seeing Chinese food and I thought this had to be a mistake. We have no problem paying for good food but I’ll never be able to justify paying that much for Chinese food where I can actually count the small pieces. I gave the three stars because the taste did in fact come through but we won’t be ordering from here again.

The portions are a rip off!! We ordered 5 dishes for 75$ and could barely feed 3 adults and a small kid. We ordered #48 which comes literally with a 1/4 cup of actual beef meat for 12$. We called them wondering if it was a mistake considering the very small portion. They couldn’t care less and we could hear the cook yelling in the background saying meat was expensive. They never bothered or tried to appeased us by making it right from a disappointed customer.

I've been taking out food from this restaurant for a few years. The quality of the food is always good, never had a problem with spoiled food. However, the quantity of some dishes is questionable. Case in point: the beef and broccoli has very little broccoli and not much beef either. Still, I reorder from this restaurant because I'm generally satisfied with the quality.

This place used to be good. I ordered two chicken fried rice dishes, one sesame beef. It cost almost $40.00 with tip for pick up (not sure why I tipped). Anyway the rice was mushy and bland, and the sesame beef was not edible, it was extremely salty. I am weary of when restaurants use too much salt, it often means they are hiding something. The portions were tiny, and not value for your money. This low value, poor quality of food guarantees we won't be coming back.
