Everytime we are in the Bloor West Village area we go for snacks at Bread and Roses. We enjoy their coffee, sandwiches, pastries, cakes, pies, cookies, quiche. The prices are also very reasonable. The homemade soup is really good that I usually order takeout also. Service is also fast.

the croissants as absolutely delicious and a must! they’re so crispy and flaky while soft and buttery. they’re not overfilled with butter but u still get the taste. these aren’t dry or overly moist at all, just perfect <3

Historic neighbourhood bakery that holds a special place in my wife's childhood memories where her parents would take her often. Many delicious tidbits on offer - can personally vouch for the pecan butter tart, apple cheese danish, red velvet cupcake, chocolate chip cookies, and savoury potato bread. And their iced Americano is very satisfying as well! Situated in Bloor West Village neighbourhood which is a great place to walk around and peruse the little shops and businesses. Not necessarily close for us but we will be back for sure!

Divine treats and eats!! Enjoyed a Turkey pot pie with mini fruit tarts for dessert. Pleasant customer service and a variety of options to choose from. In Love with this space!! Definitely recommended!!

This is my go-to spot for meetings, working in the area and solo chilling out.The bakery offerings are way more than any cafe I know and it has so many quirky (very nice) regulars.Espresso and coffee is good but it’s the atmosphere inside and in the summer outside that is perfection. From people watching to enjoying something delicious, this is the spot.

Delicious food, fresh ingredients. We come here every week. The cauliflower soup is a must try and their tasty potato buns go fast so be sure to try them! Best vibe best food! All of their pies are delicious and pastries are divine. Nothing bad to say about this neighborhood treasure!

Stopped in to pickup butter croissants and all these people were ordering sandwiches. As it was lunch time I thought I would order one as well. Ordered a chicken sandwich with the works on multi grain to go. When I got home and opened it to my surprise it was a tuna sandwich and not chicken. It is good but was looking forward to chicken. So next time I stop there and order a sandwich, I will check to make sure they got my order right!!!!
